I think the way it works is you remove the dayz part for the config file but your username and password are the same for your database login details.

I can not log on to the phpdatabase. I removed the dayz like stated in the directions and it's a no go. Can we get some clarification please ?

As mentioned below. You have to edit the launch parameters and add -mod=@rModLingor or -mod=@rModChernarus. Worked for me. Good luck.

Have you guys tried launching through Steam and just putting the launch options in Steam ? I was just getting ready to install this and I saw your post.

Can we get a link to the changes we get from the 3.4 to 3.5 ? I'm not sure any of us know why we need to update to 3.5 ??? Can we save our mission file or do we need the new one ? I have a mission file that I added buildings and bases on so if possible I can just overwrite the new one with the old one unless we specifically need the new one.

You users do not have to download anything special to see the buildings. When they log on to your server they will download the mission file like always and your new buildings will be on the map. Live Events. There will be live events on our server check our website for details. Live events work like this. You hear a distress signal on the side channel. It's up to you to listen in on the side channel for information on whats going on. Let's say you hear a distress call on the side channel. I considered doing that myself and I'm sure I will play around with it but from what I was told by the people who have already done it is that it's really difficult with Rmod to put things where you want them and you spend a lot of time deleting things. When you use the editor it's really easy to add buildings and move them exactly where you want them. With Rmod you will have to delete it from the database every time you make a mistake and with the editor you will not have any mistakes. One question I have for anyone who know is when we get Rmod do people that connect to our servers need to have the Rmod installed or is this version of Rmod just going to be built in ???

You can make it Public. Having a private hive has nothing to do with your server being public or private, that's up to you.

When they join the server they will automatically download the new mission file. It works great and when you put something in the world it works. We placed some gas tanks and water wells and you could re supply fuel and water.

Incorrect. All users have to have the mission file but it automatically downloads when you join any server so it's not anything you have to worry about. All your users will still be able to join your server without doing anything special.

If you would like to edit your PBO files and add bases and buildings to your map I have take info from the web and created a guide to help you accomplish this task. I have edited my own files and now have a working Admin base on my server. The community one is shared between multiple servers which makes it easy for people to cheat. You can log off on one server and log on to another server in the same spot on a community server. So if you know where something good spawns and you don't find it on one server then you can just log of and log on to another server with the community hive. On a Private Hive you can't do all that. When you log on to a private hive all your items and gear are only on that server. If you log on to another server you will not carry any of those items with you. More and more people are switching to private hives because it's just a better experience. I'm not sure who's idea the public hive was but for video games it's a horrible idea, imo.

You can have a private hive that shows up publicly. I run a private server but people are still able to see the server in the list. So there is no limitations on a private/hive server.

We just ban the hacker and move on. It hasn't really been a problem. They log on and we ban them.

We play fair just like everyone else on the server. If you have a team of 4 or more players we will make you a base with working items. We can edit the mission files to add structures and buildings at your location. You need to register your players on our website before we will build you a base. Once we build your base it is your responsibility to keep it.

Are we still going to have side chat with Bliss v3.5 ? When we use Rmod do our clients have to download and use Rmod too ?

I enabled Chenarus with Rmod. How do we get the vehicles to spawn ? Can we start adding them to the data base ?

Just saw the same thing. We had a thunderdome type hacker and I checked the same log file and that is the same thing I see. I don't see it anywhere else in that file and it's right at the time when the event happened.

Just had Hackers come on the server and use the thunderdome hack where they teleport you to a location and kill you. There was a group of players that kept showing up as dying and the 2 seconds later they would show up again as dying. My friend that died lost all his gear including his backpack. When he re spawned he had no gear and no starting backpack. I looked through the log files and I don't see anything. My remoteexec.log file is empty. Infact I'm not even sure the log file is set to log. I sent in a ticket and was told this is normal for this file to be empty. Where am I supposed to look for a way to identify who just did this to the server ?

I want to edit the mission file to make bases on my map for team play. Can someone point me in the right direction to a tutorial or some posts to show me how to do this correctly ? I did some searching but didn't really find anything to helpful except for people saying that they had edited the file.

The server operators are definitely abusing their powers and giving themselves items. You have a picture of their dead bodies around a crate so it's funny how you guys are trying to say he is lying. He got all his buddies to come post here to make you look bad, anyone looking in that doesn't care about either side can see that.The bottom line though is that it's a PRIVATE SERVER. You can't report them. You made your point now move on. They can say whatever they want to, you have the picture of them dead around a crate, that's priceless. If you want to play on a server I admin where no one gets stuff given to them send me a personal message.

Does anyone know where the starting inventory settings are for private servers ? I have been looking in the database but I can't seem to find where to edit the starting inventory.Great news on all the upcoming features, can't wait.
