I've searched this forum but can't find an answer. Have the change something with the gamma/brightness in the latest patch? The game cause I can't see shit at night and I mean I can only see the sky so I cant play at night anymore and I could earlier by turning up the gamma and brightness a notch so I atleast could see something. I don't want to hear that I cheat cause I don't but try to play when you cant see anything and I like to play at night

Your right about the hacker thing. I meet one yesterday and he destroyed my heli, today one was invisable and killed both me and my brother. We didnt give up, went right into cherno again to loot our corpses and we did. On our way out someone was shooting at us again and it was only me and my brother on the server so hackers and major bugs is the most important thing but to be able to play at night is for me also important but well, it was the moon it seems so I can still play :)

You were actually right but never encountered this before. I see even better on a cloudy server with rain then on the other with clear sky.

Ok. So take away the realism. A human being is NOT totally blind at night! So this is just stupid! We have nighttime cause yes its more scary but why the hell have it if you cant even play on it. It wasnt like this earlier, you could atleast notice Zeds and houses etc now you can't even if its a clear sky. I never complain about bugs, I was fully geared with NV and all and when I logged in I respawned by the sea without nothing, not even a flashlight but yes, it's an alpha so I have to take this even though I get pissed but not to be able to see is not a bug so yeah this is the only thing that makes me wanna quit playing DayZ and I loved it earlier.

Me and my brother was playing earlier and It was only me and him and someone named Victor online. We had an helicopter since yesterday and landed on a field when my brother got out, we heard gunshots and my brother was hit so I quickly powered up the heli and started to fly away, got hit but didnt die, after like 10 sec we got session lost. Is this a hacker? I mean 1 survivor online and he is excacly where we are. It was on DE 1459, 2 pm swedish time

You might be right but the posibility that one person is at the same spot at the same time is suspicios unless it was the mod and I mean even more suspecious that the server shut down right after. Well, if something like this happens and yousaved the heli right before this happens, is it still there? It was on another field or do it crash or like spawn to the first spawn place? I was barely still alive when I got on another server though so I managed to get my blood back on track with meat. I wont go back though, it isnt worth it, helis is fun but not that usefull unless you look for helicrashes or wants to kill survivors and I never kill for fun.

Without cause its so much more rewarding when you have to be on your toes to find a weapon in the beginning. The only thing that might work is a knife. More common for people to start with, if it was irl, then with a gun imo.

If you find a vehicle and save it, I know you have it on the server you played on but if you logon to another server and log back on the server you found it on, is it still there or do you need to play on that server only to be able to keep the vehicle?

That sucks but then it was fun to finaly fly a heli cause I've been playing flightsims since I was a child. We will see when I login next time.

Thanks, now I just hope people doesnt find it to fast. Imo vehicles is fun but don't find em that usefull unless you just want to go from point A to point B fast, atleast with a heli that blows your cover quite fast. I don't like to shoot survivors either so the heavy mashine gun hmm naa.

Ok lets turn this the oposite way. I on the otherhand use my skills to avoid you or help people with guys like you. For me thats a challange not to sit in a forest stalking people for prey cause thats rather simple. To put your skills into good use yes but your skills seems to be to kill and then more killing. Not that intelligent imo. As you say, Zeds are not the problem, your the problem, no, your the challange. I would never put a bullet between your eyes, I would shoot you in both your legs and let someone like you finnish you off ;)

I sure like the idea with dogs. I rather play alone cause I'm somewhat a born leader and with many people with their own needs it's hard for me so a dog, yes it might work. Now about some of you people bashing out at other people for speaking their mind, I just don't get it? The op wasn't in any way bashing at the game he asked a simple question so deal with it cause this is just imature! Edit: looked at a few if my posts and It seems like I can sound rather frustrated too sometimes. Ok well I will need to change this as long as we understand our own mistakes, we can only get better ;)

A bit bored. Never sniped either, never hunting people for that matter, just surviving. It's just me I'm like this with most of the games so I think I need something to change between and I get it on sat when Pree start on guild wars 2 is on. Still excited about the progress with DayZ though.

Ever chased a cow with two broken legs and a hatchet? Well I have and I don't recomend it. I needed food and blood so I had no choice but damn I had to crawl like crazy and try to intercept the damn cow like when you need to shoot someone far away with a sniper <_<

Yeah of course. We get a car but we don't even have a can of beans, makes sense. No no no! Why must so many people make this game into a non survivor game. Every survivor show on tv doesnt include a car nor food actually. I have never been shot when I spawn and I think its great that we spawn rather close to the bigest cities so we can gear up and then hit the woods.

Yesterday I desided to raid the big military airfield in the North alone, only been there in a group once. I sneaked between loads of Zeds and entered building after bulding and found nothing, ok one AKM and one AK-74 none of em interesting. After going out from the flight tower I crawled under a pine tree and BAAM! I found myself with 6000 in blood bleeding a lot, in pain and both legs broken so I cant stand. I did't hear a rifle shoot, no Zeds in sight so this must be a bug. I couldn't continue with the airfield when I can't climb stairs nor high entrences but I'm not angry and I won't curse at Rocket I just need to use my survivel skills even more. Time to hunt cows crawling cause I'm hungry and need blood. If someone know a good place not to far from the airfield where I might find morphine for my legs I would be happy :)

Thanks mate, a know about these teams and they do a great job but there are more people in need I'm a survivor, I will make it, I must make it on my own. I thought of joining some rescue team though cause I love to help people and I don't give a fuck if I risk my life for the cause.

I can't understand what you people do. Zeds are not the threat, survivors are. If I can sneek in the airfield loaded with zeds during the night then you can also. Oh yes lets remove Zeds, make this into a battleground instead. So fucking tired of people who wants to change this game into a game we have loads of. <_<

Must be a bug. I always play at night I can crawl 1 meter beside the Zeds and if Im still Zeds kan even walk over me and push me not seeing me so no! No nerfing. I sucked at this game in the beginning. Have no experience in FPS either but you just need to learn the game and to understand this is an Alpha. I broke both my legs, lost 6000 in blood and pain when I crawled under a pine tree yesterday and I laughed. Ok a bit disapointinf but to survive the airfield alone and then this happens. It's an alpha and I won't give up.

Yeah of course. I so totally go and play runscape cause thats what I want. Oh for the love of God, why even bother answering with stupid answers. I play dayz cause I like to play Dayz not cause I like to play runscape <_<

Yeah why not do something good for other survivors in need of help or hunt bandits as someone said. This would be my main prio once I get to your level even though I try to do it now. I don't have the problem like you. I'm on my second day right now and I try to use strategy when movi g forward, not taking risks just to make it feel more real so it take some time. About the money, it would be fun if you got a helicopter from the vending mashine too :D Okey let's stick the serious part. Seems like money would make the game even more easy and what fun is it to find money and go to a vending mashine just to get a coke and a mars?

Why make this game into a kindergarten? The impact and damage these snipers do irl would kill instantly so if we wan't to keep realism in this game I say a big NO! I have been hit by snipers and I never sit down and snipe survivors but I still want the realism.
