Sooo, out of the thousands of new players, they are all RDMing you? I haven't been killed in days, then again, I don't sit there and live in Chern or Elektro.

I think the simplest solution is to just make scoped rifles much harder to get. Want to PvP? Do it at 100-300m over iron sights unless you want to spend your time heading north to loot.

You need to turn up HDR too.

How is it worse than PMC? At least it breaks up your outline. PMC outfit is easy to see.

I would love to see new zombies types. Human zombies being slower than a sprinting player, maybe some zombified dogs etc that are faster and can slow you down for the shambling horde, etc. Or at least get rid of magic teleporting wallphasing dead people.

More importantly, why can I not just use duct tape to strap flashlight to rifle or use it with pistol. I can use scrap metal from a barn floor to repair a helicopter after all. -
Almost everyone shoots first no matter the skin, however you shooting first is much easier than trying to raise humanity. Bandit also geys better camo. Bandit is easy mode.

So basically people see DayZ as BF3 with zombies. Awesome! The game could use more options to try and create things, instead of just being about ganking players (which is fun, but gets boring) and then restocking yourself when you die (which doesn't take long assuming you run with a group, we have transport pretty much every day anyway). Fortifying a store/town/city with barricades and gas generators could be fun. Adding things to vehicles like armor plating, etc. So much potential for long lasting gameplay that doesn't consist of "spawn, call for pickup, go to airfield/stary, get gear, gank, die, repeat".

They are bugged ATM, we had one, on server restart it was fine but all the fuel drained out. Cannot fill, fuel drains faster than you can refill.

I have to say, at first I hated new zombie levels being really new to the game. Now that I have a lot more experience I love them. Keep it as it is. It's so much harder now to survive without wasting all your resources. Would be nice if you could actually clear an area for a while though. -
Is bad for the mod, of course. Do I care, no. I'm inland with good gear, friends, a UAZ and uptil a recent bug a chopper. Run inland as soon as possible and live to kill.

Only trust players you know from somewhere else, everyone else will shoot you. That's why we play as a group coming from other games. -
Might just wait this patch out, no reason to waste time with unstoppable hordes only to respawn and do it again. I agree it was too easy before, but this is stupid. 1 building, 10 zombies...worthless loot. Risk vs reward, i could just sit in the woods and be fine. Why even go anywhere.

Couldn't you make zombies spawn off players with a minimum and maximum spawn distance? That way nowhere is safe. -
I think my biggest issue is with the people who just respawn over and over to kill people along the coast. If you are living in the wilderness and I stumble upon your camp, I plan to take what I need. If you shoot me for doing so, fine, fair play. If people just respawn, run into town, gun people down, die, respawn, that's just stupid. Hopefully when melee comes in we can start with just a knife and force people to find their pistols. Should cut down on that problem nicely.
