i def prefer the m24 due to it being so easy for ammo, as great as those guns are i just hate having to get so lucky to even find ammo for them. if you have the ammo they are def the best to go but otherwise i would pass it up

This is a few helpfull tips to those who are past the being new stage, but are still very green. Like how to have and use multiple primaries (switching them in your pack properly ), setting map waypoints, and some sniper tips like underused gear and range finding. i thought about adding that but i want to keep all these to less then 5 mins and i was pushing that alot so i decided to leave it out. its def the easiest way to do it (but hopefully most ppl know this already :) )

i ment meters, as thats what the game use's, but for numbers sake you can call it whatever you want realy lol.

yeah your best bet is place the items from your pack to the new one, pick up any crap on the ground around it so its the only thing there, then you should be able to pick it up no problem

Title says it all, the character i had the longest was on Day 15 !!! and the sad thing about this was when i died it was due to a god mode character. this guy in a ghuilli suit rolls up on us saying he is friendly but has snipers aimed in on us ( devils castle ) my buddie get shot at so he opens fire. he puts at least 2 round of m14 into him, i shoot and add another 3 or more akm rounds and the guy is still standing and kills me as well. was kinda pissed..... wow sorry for the tangent ... 15 days! how about you?

i had a similar problem last night but it was on a server.... i was running fine, logged out due to screen tearing near a military spot, logged in and only getting 10 fps down from 50..... very frustrating

the only thing handguns are good for now is headshoting zeds...... there is not much diffrent between the makarove, g17, 1911 ect anymore. although i think you can attach a military flashlight to the g17.... but its a very common weapon

if you lone wolf it def keep the m14 .... if you run with at least 2 other ppl give one of them the 14 and keep the 48 and be the boss!

im not sure what the multiplier is but headshots def help, i killed a guy with a clip and a half (last bullet landing on his head) and i missed some of those shots. so there is def some wierd multiplyers in there as far as damage and base damage go. i would have to say thou if your positive you had three headshots on him along with body shots that it was a hacker....

I think the optimal setting would be to include a updated version of chenarus as well as a new stand alone map (if we are paying for the game i want a new map) and being a stand alone it would not be hard to add maps in the future.... also the zombie spawn should be fixed, if i clear an area, go into a building they should not spawn 10 more right next to me. i also like an idea somebody said about making it islands..... start on island A find and repair a boat to get to island B or C , there you can find a heli to travel as you wish , island B and C could have better stuff, harder zombies ect.

luckiest find..... found anti- biotics ( although a squad mate needed them 10 mins later) unukiest .... on the far west side of the map me and one other guy pick a low pop server at night just so we can run south with no distractions to make it to the rest of our squad, as im running threw a random field not near anything ( 6 ppl on server) i get sniped (i was fully outfitted as the day before we were at the NWAF

its considered "rare" but the gun is more common then some others in that catagory. it is however one of the most versitile weapons in the game as it has very high damage and with the optics is good for close range and at distance. def one of my fave weapons.

im sorry but ppl here are right, 2 ppl is not a squad, and on top of that you showed us a major flaw in this game first hand. you were on the offensive and you still went to abort. realy!!! if you are going to pick a fight. Stay and fight, if you die so what, start over and gear back up. aborting like this is horrible and its even worse that you started the fight and were going to do it, you reacted so fast to that abort key when he did not die right away.

my first "long life" character of only 9 days lol (thought it was long at the time) i died legit as well, not sure what happened, just shot in the back at a store.

damn man 59 is the record on the thread so far, i kinda wish the "leaderboards" were active and not abused due to some of the shit

WOW!! do you stick to the NE mostly? thats alot of surviving and getting lucky :) (i say lucky because of server hoppers, hackers, random bullshit ) but regardless well done :)

system, yeah it can be alot of fun to start over sometimes, because finding some of the basic gear gets you amped up again :)

thatts a great point Bear!!! and viking would have been funny to listen in to that conversation as it happened lol.... butt yeah if somebody only plays 1 hour a days and is on 20 compared to somebody 4 hours a day and on day 5..... hmmm not sure but im sure most who make it to day 10 + have some pretty good hours into it to even survive that long :)
