    Saline Bag?

Just get healthy, it's probably as quick a way to heal up.

    Bandits

    You mean Kamyshovo.

    this stone/rock

I've heard that it will be required for making campfires, but when the physics system is implemented, I think it's main use will be being tossed from the roofs of apartments above Cherno at unsuspecting survivors below.

    Bandits

    East of Elektrozerbagersk.

A few questions,I suppose, about Saline.

Your total blood is 5000 units, a blood bag will restore 1000, a saline bag currently will restore 500. Before the last patch, a saline bag would restore all 5000, but this was presumably an error with a decimal point, as they were never intended to be so magically awesome. As for which is better in the current state of the game, it depends. Saline is a safer bet to have around in case of an emergency, unless you have access to a supply of type o- blood.
  7. It's still pretty fair to shoot them, though, in these examples.
  8. Either the simulated wood on the dash of my Buick isn't actually simulated wood, due to it's not being made of real wood, or (and I think this is more likely) by definition there must be some dissonance between a simulation and what is being simulated.

Lost Regular and Hardcore characters... :T

I haven't had a patch today, I have no idea what that other guy is talking about. Patch is supposed to be tomorrow, like 24+ hours from now at the soonest.

Character Died from 5ft drop (estimate)

I *think* (and I am speculating here) that the reason this other person survived his fall from a roof is that he was playing on the current experimental build of the game, where fall damage is bugged, and you don't take any. It's a bug that was introduced with the latest experimental patch and will hopefully be remedied before that build goes to stable, but don't count on it. If you're not going to enjoy re-gearing, then oh man, this is not the game for you. The permadeath isn't going away. It's nice to have a friend nearby who can grab some of your important stuff when you die, but that's a best-case scenario around here.

    Another death...

Shouldn't that read the other way around? If someone logged in near you, you'd have heard the reload sound as they joined. They probably heard *you* log in, and then decided to sneakily assassinate you.
  12. Holy shit, I have no idea what you're trying to say.
  13. And tough titty toenails for them, I guess. If you're at an airfield and someone logs in next to you, the correct reaction is to shoot them before they can do anything about it. To do anything otherwise is to invite death.
  14. Blaaaaaaag

    how did i randomly die?

My guess would be something desync related. I've had 2 deaths in SA so far where the only thing I'm certain of is that I was desyncing at the time. One of them I think I even managed to shoot myself. But yeah, mystery deaths abound in this game.

    Child Briefcase

Just found this 'Blue Child Briefcase' while wandering around on experimental, found it in the single story brick cafe in Kamarovo. Just thought I'd post it up, as I think it's new with this update. First one I've seen, at any rate.

    Child Briefcase

I thought the same thing. Even the smallest child should occupy 16 slots. Also, it's uncomfortably. Extremely uncomfortably.

    Child Briefcase

Turns out it's available in red as well:

What are your biggest issues AFTER .114782?

For some reason, my characters keep diving to the prone position out of nowhere. I've noticed that a couple of times when it happened, it coincided with the 'you are hungry' white text appearing in the bottom left of the screen. Also, I can't seem to crouch while my fists are up, I have to hit space to lower them and then press x.

    Look At My Crotch

    Showoff.

We NEED some way to identify heros and bandits.

    You're right, that's not nerfing, that's Arma.
  21. My first rule is keep moving, and I mean that in two senses. Don't ever stand perfectly still if you can avoid it. When drinking or messing around in inventory, strafe back and forth. Also, don't stay in the same place for very long. If you're with a group and you've all stopped to drink, try to get moving along again as quickly as you can. I'm pretty sure the number one cause of death among people I play with is loitering, and it drives me nuts. Next most important thing would be to learn to be efficient with inventory, both with deciding what items are worth looting/keeping, and with the general orderliness of your backpack and pocket space. Having an organized pack with lots of big open spaces will enable you to double-click the important things you're trying to loot, and allow you to loot quicker. Being knowledgeable about the items in the game goes a very long way with this. Stay current on what items are actually useful in the current build, so you don't have to think about things like wrenches or water purification tablets, etc. A nice consequence of the above practices is that you effectively don't need to eat as much, to do as much, as someone who spends forever in their inventory, as all that time spent is time where you're getting hungrier/thirstier.

    SKS Feedback

I found some in a house, in a one-story with a copper roof.
  23. That 'stuffed' notifier would appear to be bugged out just like 'healthy' is in all the other builds, it just doesn't go away on it's own. I have verified this stuffing myself, running for 10 minutes or so, and then eating a bunch more. After having a pack of dried milk and a couple cans of food, the bottom left of the screen came up with the white text 'you are full' warning again. If I was truly stuffed before doing that, then I'd have vomited and that warning would have come up in red.
  24. This should be a box quote. Belongs on the Steam page. Someone get on that.
  25. Rocket just tweeted about the 'you are dead' screen issue. Hopefully a fix soon? Maybe? edit: tried to link said tweet, but the link vanished, so i guess I'm not allowed to do that.
