I'm using fraps and mumble overlays - no ban so far

tent takes up 3 slots but you need them in your main inventory.. you can move the tent to your backpack after you pick it up

bikes - agree, more bikes would be nice backpacks - are fine, ALICE pack is 20 slot and quite common, how is that not enough space? safe zones - no

how are you launching the game? anyway, you can download and use sixlauncher or dayzcommander (something like that) which should do everything for you (update mod/beta, connect to server) although I have no experience with them since I prefer doing things myself

try running steam as administrator and then run both ArmA2 and ArmA2:OA once.. then try to run CO or try to make a screenshot of that command line to see what it say there

well you can try using the direct channel but it doesn't mean that people will stop killing you some people don't care/believe that you are friendly or not worth killing

from what I know the ArmA2 silenced weapons can be heard from quite a distance by other players as confirmed by my team mates (I myself use M4).. only the infected are completely ignorant of the sound also these weapons use specialized ammunition so it's not just attaching a "silencer"

As the title says, please add an "Ignore this topic" button similar to the "Follow this topic" one the button would hide the thread from the New Content view

I would be using rubber bullets, why not.. I'm not a PK or bandit but I shoot people if I feel threatened.. not because I want the kill or their stuff but only to protect myself.. if I had the option I'd rather incapacitate (some of) them with rubber bullets than kill them

maybe hacked items don't save (not saying they were, just a thought) I think 10 minutes is more than enough to save your gear

it is illegal to wear a hat but it is legal to shoot people.. religion at its best edit: fixed a typo so that Cyclonis can sleep better

have you tried to relog?

try to tap all modifier keys once (CTRL, ALT, SHIFT) and then try scroll-wheel again

bags have a bug which causes them to be invisible for their owner after he drops it on the ground but other people can see it also you could have checked dayzdb or dayzwiki for information on the vest pouch.. loot bugs are quite common so it is wiser to check any item there before swapping it for whatever you currently have

I like the nerf from PvE perspective but it hurts PvP IMO rocket should buff the weapons back as they were pre-nerf to be viable in PvP but also buff the infected health so it takes more shots to kill them.. it makes headshots more relevant and ammo more valuable which I think is good

you talk about people disconnecting when you get the jump on them and fail to kill them but people often use ALT+F4 (or Abort or whatever) when they engage you first but fail to kill you - no shooting skill will help you there

when you start the game you see game and mod version in bottom right corner in the main menu you will be unable to join any server running higher version than what you see there

I wouldn't count on that.. everything you need to get you started can be found on forums, the rest you just have to learn by playing the game

it should run fine with retail+steam what do you see in the main menu bottom right corner? you should see something like this: Version: 1.62.95417 DayZ 1.7.2.4 also what method do you use to start the game? shortcut? steam?
