Pointless thread is very pointless.

another reason to use crowbars. One hatchet hit from a hostage can knock you out and you would be fucked. A crowbar hit wont do shit.

use crowbars for hostage fights. Hatchets kill in 3 hits. Crowbars take around 10.

i have gotten bored of general killing so i figured this would be more challenging and more fun. Its been going okay. I have gotten people to drop there guns. And i usaly use my sidearm to break there leg also then spray an mk48 and have them have to fend off zombies in the bulding. I usely do this with a friend or two but i decided to try it solo on these two guys i saw. Anyway i rush in yelling for them to drop there weapons and they agree. I let one go in order to bring me some meds. But i guess he found a 1911 in the building and as soon as i broke his buddies leg he rushed out and got the best of me since i didnt have my main gun out. Anyways i was wondering if anyone had tips on robbing people.

A couple successful robbery's today. But we had one terrible failure. My dumbass friend and I were messing with this one guy after we stripped him of his weapons. But my friend has satchel charges in his bag and the hostage stole them and set them off in the building and killed all three of us.

Well I was just minding my own business sniping elektro when I notice a dead player with a coyote backpack in one of the fire stations. I run down there and go inside and get shot by a man with an l85. I get an elektro spawn after that so I am looking for revenge. I look in almost every building and all i can find is a Makarov with 4 mags. Fuck it. I run over to where i died and see another player running over there. I go in the opposite entrance as him and see him trying to loot a body on the stairs and I shoot him in the head. Then I run behind the wall to reload. Two guys in walk down the stairs and I could see them in 3rd person. I quickly move around expecting to die and shoot one in the head a few times and see a death message. Reload. Jump around again and and kill the other guy by some miracle. They both landed shots on my I think but it was an l85 so it only took me down to like 6k. Then I run up the stairs and see ANOTHER guy and i start to fire but he combat logs. I loot and hide all the bodys. I have an m14 at this point and am just logging back in 15 minutes later after i got something to drink. I walk up the fire station stairs. There is one of them again with an l85 and then the same pussy combat logs from earlier. Worst group in dayz. One of there names was "Old Man?"

After a raid on a clan camp I am left with large amounts of loot that I don't really want even though i spent like 45 minutes moving it all to a different server. So I am trading it for some guns that I do want. I could go for a ghille suit and L85.

The reason I chose elektro is because i am already here and I dont have a vehicle to move to where the buyer is.

Holy mother of god this gun is good, easy to find and ammo is everywhere. If I am trying to kill someone in elektro. This is now my gun of choice. If you put pellets in this thing it will rip them a new asshole. Every initial shot i have had with this has either broken a leg or knocked them out.

Why in the fuck would Valve Anti Cheat help anything. You do not understand how "hacking" works in this game. Also why would valve protect servers for a game they didn't make.

Yea, i cant use this gun with slugs. I would rather use a winchester or lee enfield. But with pellets, each round shoots 8 pellets, each pellet does 2000 damage. If you are within 20 meters, you instakill. But anything over 60 meters or so you wont hit much.

Yea thats not real pking. You need to get up in front with the action. Not just camp dobry.

I got banned for calling TheLaughingMan a nerd. How is this allowed? In the server host rules it clearly states "do not ban for smacktalk"

Is an admin allowed to ban a user because they called the admin a name? Just got banned for calling an admin a nerd on US IL5.

I just want to get unbanned. I had a lot of friends there and never got there steam names etc. I probably wont play there anyways since the server is garbage. Multiple hackers on at all times, I just played because of sidechat.

Nope the server is on the hive. It is an older server so sidechat was grandfathered.

Its a server with sidechat/voice chat if that matters at all.

Hello. I play on US 561 a lot, it used to be called Chicago 54. I play as the name Brendan(to lazy to change it). I notice you AR-15 members on almost all the time. I logged in about 5 minutes ago on that server hoping to camp the NW airfeild with my AS50 and kill you guys becuase you assholes shot at me earlier. Anyways I log in literaly 2 feet away from one of your spotters who i forgot the name of. He was looking threw his NV goggles(thanks for those btw). I looked at him for about 10 seconds in shock. I quickly then fired one AS50 round right into his skull killing him instantly. I figured since this kill required no skill whatsoever and it was a pretty dick move that I would not loot the body that hard/hide it. Though I did take your goggles. I didnt stay around either so dont look for me. I refuse to get attacked by five members geared to the teeth.

Just found this on a dead body. Not sure if its hacked or not. But either way its a shiny gold revolver. Pics can be sent if you want proof.

I am just on top of the hospital in elektro doing my thing when i see a guy run into the police station or offices what ever you wanna call it.. I wait until i have an open shot and fire with my ak. I hit him once but he got away. I wait about 5 minutes and see him scavenging upstairs. This time I want a kill shot so I pull out my M14 AIM and as soon as i reload i accidentally shoot a round and its super loud. Then I see this guy running around the second floor of the police station frantically. after about 5 seconds he just runs off the second floor, breaks his leg, then I shoot him once. This guys thought process is no more advanced than a banana.

Once dayz goes standalone scripting will be non existent.
