my advise is to make sure that you can upgrade the laptop sager is a good brand and you can upgrade almost every part but the MB they may cost a bit more but if you want something to last and you can upgrade... the laptop does look good but they are right short term its a real good pc but in the long run if you can not upgrade it..it will be nothing more then a expensive web surfer..

if you are going to get a laptop for gaming i suggest a sager i have a X8100 and i can play most games at a good frame rate (xoticpc.com) <--- they sell custom laptops i know my laptop is older now got it a few years back but its good but dude dont get a dell...

the only way that i know to save is to abort and disconnect then restart your game dont respawn just reconnect to the server -

yeah thats happened to me as well i re installed the beta version and it fixed it self..

or make sure that the version 1.6x is the same as the servers you are trying to connect to

try and use the in game multi-player server list see if all the icons on the far left are red x's if they are then try re installing the beta version?

do you have the new patch 1.7.2.3? what beta patch are u using?? are u using the 6 launcher or ingame server list?

WOW real good to watch real good to kind of get a direction on where the game will be in the future if he keeps the game on the path that he wants this will be one of the best sellers (i think) of video games will draw ALOT of people.. he has my support now and if he takes it stand alone -
The 1.6 version number is the beta patch you can get them here http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php some are having luck with 949 others are not 876 is also a good one

yeah i am in the same spot tried to re install the beta and 1.7.2.3 and still can not connect when i go to Arma 2 through the .exe and not the 6 launcher all i see is red x's on the server list can anyone help with this?

i say yes its worth the money as you can tell by how fast its growing yes there are bugs but its alpha and i love it so far bought arma2 just for dayz

anyone else stuck at waiting for host once the patch is applied? thats what i am getting i let it sit there for 5-10 min and still the same? anyone know whats going on?
