Well, it does have a neg effectbwhen you are hiding right next to some Zed, they aggro, and hack you while youre dancing. Lost a character that way. -
I had also thought of this idea, but never tried it. Tomorrow i will give a chance. Maybe no gun either, just an axe.

I'm sort of on a vacation. I want to see each of the towns, hang around a day or so, and move on. Also like wandering the back roads on nice days, particularly the ones that have vista views. -
Sula, Been playing since the Steam sale. My kids gave me the game as a gift. I get to play an hour orbtwo here or there each week, mostly on weekends. I played Thief if my youngerbdays, andbthe sneaking around is reminiscant. Im more of a stealth player than a shooter. Played with my kids a couple times and im the medic/scout on the hill. Mostly, i'm a "tourist" who likes to explore the map, see the different areas and towns, avoid shootouts etc. never shot another player in anger (though i once killed a man who shot at me first).

We all cry the first time were "invited" to thunderdome, we complain, then you either learn to live with getting hacked (realizing this is an alpha), or you get tired and drop off for a while. -

Riokusu, I agree that the .4 update seems to have degraded a few dimensions (to be expected during dev), but hackers actively screwing up Rockets vision and blatantly "cheating" the game by harming others experience is us users ruining the experience for others outside the context of the game. I'm a 50 year old noob, and i'm not complaining about general banditry, that's part of Rockets vision, but fheats that affect others isnt. -
Maybe it's me, but didnt know Zed could swim. Got surprized by Zed on a respawn at Three Valleys, so i went out on the dock. They stayed on land rather than follow. Thought id try a break line of sight by going under the dock. The Zed then began walking out under the dock, swam towards me, and swam after me as i swam away. Then they became "Jesus Zed" and walked on the water while hacking me to death. Pretty cool- worth 2 beans.
