Exactly why I have had US 1088 in my favorites for a while now.

My friend and I tested it on one we found and had stored in our camp. Our final conclusion is that depending on how close you are to Green Mountain, the louder the transmission will be. If you climb to the highest point in Green Mountain, it is LOUD. In Zelenogorsk, we could still hear it. A little bit north of Balota, it is very faint.

Radios are currently unable to be used, or even obtained legitimately, it is speculated that players will be able to communicate with each other using them, however this is not confirmed. Some have stated that when they found a radio on Green Mountain the radio triggers an audio file with music and Morse Code every hour on the hour. I have found exactly two AS50's at legit loot spawns, and no M107's. I have had dozens more M107's and AS50's off of dead survivors.

They are getting duped and spawned in by hackers multiple times as we speak. My friend and I also found TWO AS50's at TWO crashed helicopters in a row. Not so rare at all.I actually agree with OP here. Interesting read.

So, I was fairly new to the game, didn't know much. I came across a town (which turned out to be Elektro) and said "Hey, might as well loot it." So I ran into the school/office/whateveryouwanttocallit, and there was a corpse there (as of now all I had was a crowbar) with a makarov on it, and an ALICE pack. I studied the body, and his name was Mike. I mourned him for a bit then went up on the roof. I hear footsteps downstairs. Can't be a zombie, zombies don't run in buildings. I type in the chat "Hello?" I actually get a response. "Mike: Hi" It was the dead guy! I was a nice guy, and offered him some of his stuff back "Ok" he said. I was climbing down the ladder when I heard a shotgun fire and "Mike was killed" I carefully walked down the stairs, and there he was, looting Mike's body. I fired. Missed. He looked up. Fired. Missed. I fired again a couple times. Hit his leg. He ran back out of my line of sight. "He must be leaving the building," I thought. So I ran back down the ladder and crouch-walked around for a bit. Shotgun shot lands right next to me. I look in the school, and there he is, shooting at me from a corner. I take a shot and miss, then run around to the other side of the school. I crouch-walk in again, and there he is, with a shotgun pointed at my face, at point blank range. I panic and empty what's left of my Makarov into him, right after he blasts me in the face with his shotgun. However, it only knocked me unconscious. "I'm dead, he won." I thought. But, I looked at my debug monitor. "Bandits Killed: 1" What? I woke up and looked around, only to see his dead body lying there. I bandaged myself and grabbed his shotgun, congratulating myself for winning the fight by a string. Luck must of been on my side today.

The even worse thing, is that it was an M1014. But I always hear stories of snipers in Cherno =(

I ran inside a building, and while I was in the doorway, my teammate accidentally slammed the door into my face, causing me to bleed out and die. I shot him the next time we met XD

So, I logged in to DayZ the other day and when I logged in, I was unconsious, and the timer wasn't counting down. I remembered the last time I logged off, I wasn't in shock, I wasn't bleeding, I wasn't anything. And I'm just sitting there unconsious forever. So I say "Ah, well it might be the server." So I logged off that server, and logged on to another one. "SELECT YOUR GENDER" What the fuck? When I logged off unconsious nobody was shooting at me, and now I'm starting on the coast with nothing! And it didn't say I died in the chat, nor was my blood going down. This really pissed me off. I had just found my first Ghillie Suit too.

Turn off VSync.
