first day back to dayz. My buddy and i see two choppers at skalitsy island. Im gunless, we were at skalitsy hoping people still kept their tents there. They don't. when one pulls away we decide to investigate the one that remained. Shot to shit, nothing in it but soda. So we camp it for a good while and i get in the gunner seat. Finally they land and i just fire the gun at the name tag. Miss everything. But by that time my friend had shot one of them with the lee. The other one logged it looked like. And as our luck would have it the dead guy was carrying shit. Just a winny. so we settle for the two seater chopper. When out of no where we get chased by another U1H1 and my buddy immediatly is shot out. I evade them with my sub par piloting skills enough to pick him up at electro. 1/8th fuel, no guns and nothing better to do we fly to cherno. Full backflip and blow up on the ground. I get kicked for remote exec or something, Maybe it was hacked in i have no idea. At any rate i think i made a good re-entry.

Or you could just learn how to spot a reputable site from one with a keylogger/virus etc. Dayz commander is convenient though. And if you feel like waiting a few hours they said they'll put it on there as well.

Any thoughts about making that server origins when it comes out?

Surely i can't be the only one who thinks this. I rarely see another survivor i haven't arranged to meet. Last time i saw who i was killed by was in cherno because i'm i dumbass. I wont say it isn't realistic for someone to wait to earhole someone in this situation. People do it all the time and they aren't trying to survive a zombie outbreak. I'm just saying it isn't fun. The dayz i want to play is the dayz where i can shoot back. I want to see the person shooting at me. I want to have a battle. I know they said they would make sniping harder. Snipers rarer. And if they can I am all for it. But I figure someone at some point will find another way to dupe. Then we're at the same place.

Thing is if they save it to the hive that's memory wasted. If you save it to your computer. You can just delete the files.

Well, the standalone will get rid of the scripters. Which is 90% of the hackers anyway. The money flow should help them patch more so bye bye duping. And From what rockets said it looks like sniping may get difficult. But i still don't see people using the AS50 strictly for vehicles.

I dont think player killing should be discouraged. I think working together should be encouraged. From what it seems they're adding in the standalone. At the very least, player community's will be more prominent. Bandit or otherwise people will start working together to get there bases. I like militias idea as well. I believe it would be hard as shit to add but i'd enjoy it.

They said standalone should do away with that. Let's hope though tranq guns would be amazing.

I Agree that night time should be difficult. But in the mod you have no visibility at all in the dark. That's overdoing it in my opinion. If they give you a decent night vision. Close to what humans normaly have. I could dig it. But now it's pretty much the only way to see in the dark.

I would go one further and say forget the zombies. Occupy it. Add some reasonably difficult Military npcs to it. If a clan takes it out give they occupy it. Have it spawn slightly less difficult npcs. And transfer ownership like that. Let them set friendly's. That's my idea of an endgame. Maybe even spread a couple of them out.

Yeah the AS50 was a big reason. But the main one is it is just so passive. Why move when you can dome someone from a thousand meters. If they can honestly make sniping a challenge. Then i would get over it. But in the mod at least. There is more snipers than dbags to camp. And if you throw a rock in cherno it will hit someone willing get a campfire going on the hill. I know it sounds like qq but that's only because it is. Like i said though i just want to have a battle. Maybe add a different server option with them disabled.

Not in a million years or a million languages will that ever mean anything. Let alone translate to anything. Also, they're adding Vehicle reinforcement.
