    What a bunch of smartasses. It's a perfectly fine gun, you don't need a military grade 1600 zeroing rifle to score a kill. I wanted to learn how to use snipers in this game too, so I did a bunch of research. This all seems specific to ARMA2 so I don't know if it's completely accurate for Dayz, but I assume it is. Ranging and Correction Guide For general info on how scopes work, how to correct for range, etc. Target Range To practice shooting, because you can't really get any in Dayz without wasting ammo or just revealing yourself. Sniper Operations Manual A useful primer detailing how to play as a sniper, including map reading, movement, positioning, etc. A perfectly reasonable question to ask. Bunch of asshats in this community.
