Ive got a question, And i dont want to touch the boundaries on piracy, but here is my problem. (Read the whole thing) I Purchased Arma II and Arma II AO on Wildtangent about 5-6 months ago, they both downloaded and worked fine. I have since reinstalled windows & Upgraded my PC. i went to re-download the games tonight, Arma II installed perfectly via their installer, however, Operation arrowhead downloads to 100% and then restarts at 0%, over and over and over.... I have 2 Legitimate CD keys for Arma II AO (and one for arma II) i found one from an old purchase that i had made a long time ago. Either way, Keys are legit. and im sure there's some way Bohemia can confirm that and maybe allow me to download the game from them? I tried asking for help on the Wild tangent forums, but they are a bunch of idiots and seem completely confused and out of touch with reality. My other question, is it right to torrent the game? As long as my CD key is legal? I can provide Pictures, Proof of purchase, etc. Just someone help me out if you can, I hate to see my purchase go to waste...

And im going to assume 14-16 Go knock on doors, ask for small jobs, (wash cars,whatever) buy a prepaid visa, when standalone comes out Buy it, and buy the current arma2OA now with your current money. 2. Buy Arma now, And figure out wtf ur gonna do when standalone comes out (Fun now vs Fun later) 3. Dont say stupid shit like "i could pirate it". yeah, that is illegal, im not trying to be "That guy" But why risk that? 4. Get a job? beg your parents? you do realize when Standalone "comes out" Its going to be at a discounted price VS release price? you wont have to earn that much money, Go sell something...

Im sure thats cool, but doesnt that just turn it into Battlefield or CoD with an eating and drinking meter? Im not saying running around for hours is fun, but TONS OF GUNS + SMALL MAP + asshole players?! thats just a deathmatch waiting to happen.. They seriously just need to keep PVP the way it is, and make zombies an actual threat....then Chernarus wouldnt suck.

I think of dayZ like i do when i play EvE online, Hours of not having much fun, For that few seconds of heart pounding adrenaline because something absolutely crazy has happened. like, surviving, being out in the middle of nowhere, a player comes across you and you are at a standoff, a firefight ensues and zombies start hording towards you, and you and the guy you were fighting with automatically become buddies because neither of you want to die, a few seconds later, a van with 4 bandits rolls through and kills everything, you get robbed. Game over. Those moments don't last long, and are few and far between the tedious running/resting/eating/drinking simulator that is DayZ, but those moments keep it worth it, and always will.

prettysure if u end the game in any way, while a timer is running, it will still auto-kill you and ull be dead anyway :)

In short, i would say while this sucks? Dont worry about it I dont want to be the guy that says, "Figures someones bitching now that they cant Alt-f4 out" well, tbh? even if you could? These hackers will still be a bitch for you no matter what happens. Just wait for standalone, the hacker issue will be hopefully/probably handled differently there.

This brought a tear to my eye :) Seriously though, Its good to see people like this, I myself have a bandit skin due to self protection, Usually Survivors who have not yet bandit skinned trying to kill me, And failing... Most of the time when my things crash, there should be an arrow or something or a dropbox, you can click. Im willing to bet this might not even be a Graphics card issue, my sisters shitty laptop can start up Arma2 fine and its got like a Intel 975 Integrated graphics in it.... It wont "run", u can start, it just sits at a black screen and 20 mins later it sloooooooooooooooooooowly starts to show some graphics OP: Provide a crash report perhaps? that may help Excuse the double post, i had Edit and quickreply open, accidentally clicked the wrong one.

they had the 525m in the M11x but hey...you never know right? this guy could of had one :P And prettymuch yeah... When i got my Pc (its an m17x) I had alot of the issues he's having with like...Everything Mainly becaues 2 cards were active at the same time Although, my fix is a bit easier (even after learning the manual way) I can just press FN key + F7 and it disables one or the other entirely.

what are you running it through? steam?

Are you using an Alienware by any chance? Also, If you aren't, Are your cards Capable of running at the same time? If they are, a simple fix, is to go into your Driver program *Nivida center* or whatever, and shut the other one off. <---i know u said u know how to choose, but you want to try to figure out how to DISABLE the otherone, instead of just putting it on the backburner Also, an integrated videocard in the Mobo or anywhere for that matter, shouldn't prevent you from doing anything. A crash doesnt also mean Video issue, Try changing all compatability settings (Its stupid but it works alot of the time) try uninstall/reinstall Reinstall all of your drivers make sure everythings up to date (to taste of course)ts Note: I have had a HD3000 and Currently have an HD4000 (with my Gtx660M) and both were capable of AC2....I think that was more of a case of "mac" being the issue lol, Or a system/to/system basis for issues... (my intel HD4000 integrated runs Arma2/DayZ fine),
