PvP should stay if it has MEANING i.e. If you have an axe, And your starving/thirsty/dieing, and im clearly decked out in Gear and have a bunch of stuff? By all means...try to rob me, take what i have. I would If you are a lone wolf, and you see a bunch of tents guarded by 3 people, and you have the drop on them? sure! Call out, tell them to lay down and turn away or be shot, if they move? kill them. Robbing people, surviving, All of that. Great! what needs to stop is NOT PvP, but rather, Pointless "LULKills" Pvp, for example -You spawn in, someone snipes you off of spawn -You are clearly harmless, trying to run AWAY from town, Newbie finds gun, Newbie shoots you in back of head, passes your corpse (clearly not to loot it) and "Lol's" on his way by. -Someone asks for help, You are friends for a good half hour, Youve been through shit together, survived the thick of it, they get bored or Antsy and kill you and take your shit and leave. So in essence, The PvP doesnt need to change, The People do...I cant imagine Anybody wants to play a Pvp Shooter with an enormous map, an eating function, and a thirst meter.... Because in reality? If you turned PvP off, DayZ would get very very very boring Extremely fast, You would be able to walk around, Find food, find water, find guns, kill zombies. thats it.. go play Left4Dead but if you leave it as is, and try to prevent Mindless grief killing....Sure! im all for it. (and yes, Pointless killing with the intent to Annoy others does happen) no matter how much some of you extreme die-hard fans try to say it doesnt. I prefer survival, I love that bandits will roam, I love getting robbed, being forced to surrender my things and sent on my way to parts unknown... Anyway, tired and rambling, but my point got across i hope *and also* ZOMBIES should be harder, a bigger threat, and a big part of the game so if someone does want to shoot on sight? Their gunshot should call a horde, causing them to have one of the most epic firefights with a player, and fighting off zombies at the same time. calls for some epic times right there!! *last edit* Noooooo on the "wrestler can tear shirt and scare zombies thing" seriously? Even the most "childish" Version of the zombie virus, whether it be Infection, rage, virus, disease, death, necromancy, ritualistic, mind control drugs, etc. No "wrestler" is going to be scary enough to stop the Raging undead, or the Rage infected living......really.... *final final edit* yeah..no on the cheerleader, Nobody would stand in a zombie apocalypse cheering on someone in catchy tune...it just doesnt, and wouldnt happen....

I believe you were right in this, The way i handle bandits, or anybody for that matter is simply, if I have the drop on them, i will shoot once in the leg, disabling them, i will then tell them to stay on the ground and not move, I then put a morphine or something in their pack (If i have extras) and bandage them, I keep my gun aimed on them and back away, whilst keeping communication, telling them i will kill them if they move. It usually works, it allows me to not have to kill on sight, and it slowly shows others that not everybody is a complete prick who just Pvp's for the fuck of it. However, if I hear gunshots in say....Cherno? and see alot of players death messages on the screen, I usually get on edge and start KoS'ing everybody i come across until i get to safety.

Aside from all 4 of us getting shot at the end by some hacker. It was kind of nice running into other players who's only intent wasn't to kill on sight. Again, sorry i shot you both once but i had to get you to stop (just in case) >My intent was not to kill you< believe me, i would have if i wanted to. I hate to suggest this, but Try dying... there has been many "issues" in the last few months where players spawned in without their stuff, and the supposed suggestion was dying. and they would then respawn with what they had. If you want to wait to try this until someone else responds, go ahead. but its all ive got.

Judging by the fact you kept getting further and further away, and he rifle sound stayed just as close as ever to you, you MAY HAVE encountered someone who was invis. Happened to me once except i was in a car, hauling ass, and he kept up on foot/invis, firing at me. Then decided to uninvis when i stopped and appeared in front of my car and shot me in the face.

Without sounding like i am complaining too much, I do understand they are busy working on standalone, look at their Twitter page.....When it was just a mod (before standalone announcement) TONS of posts, replies, interaction with the community. The only time i have ever killed someone for a stupid reason was this. I approach him from behind, my weapon aimed at his head, I stated over the mic for him to surrender and kneel down so i could take what i needed. He stated that he was unarmed, (he had a handgun in his backpack) but did not try to pull it out. he also had NVG's, Rangefinder, plenty of food & Drink. So i took his Rangefinder, 3 food, 3 drink. I thanked him and told him im letting him keep his NVG's and his weapon. And to face the wall and not turn around while i leave. He then goes You know what? Fuck you i dont even care if you kill me (He had a very high pitched voice) My assumption...14year old. I Said really? You just went through all that and your going to cause problems? He then replies with "Fuck you FAGGOT" <---really? i think i was pretty fair about this whole ordeal. so i shot him...many..many times and got myself a new pair of NVG"s and enough food & drink to last a few days.

my ONLY problem with DayZ commander is. If i run DayZcommander..play DayZ, then switch to Sixlauncher to play 1944 or something? It down-dates my game and i have to redownload everything in DayZcommander DayZ commander gets a 9.8/10 From me Great program!
