You may need to go into your 'advanced tab' in graphics settings and tweak post processing, AA and test around with it.

My wise word: trust no-one, 99.9% of survivors I've come across have killed me. If I were you I'd find some good weapons, get some supplies (ammo, bandages, food) and get the hello out of cherno or elektro!

the noob way if you don't know how: press G, find the axe in your inventory, right click remove from toolbelt and it should be equipped like a primary weapon

First off, its meant to be a 'realistic survival game', so you think that a zombie Apocalypse occurred you would instantly get guns? You would do whatever it takes to get weapons and stay alive, people kill you for 2 reasons: to take your stuff or just for fun.Second, not everyone kills, half of the people are very cautious of other players and will usually shoot on sight and again they really just want to kill you for fun or loot your stuff. Don't discriminate this game, its a mod you can't expect anything perfect, and if it was a standalone game it, without player killing it would be stupid and not realistic. You have a life, yet your telling people to get a life, makes sense.

If you want check out http://dayzdb.com/map, When I first started off, I cautiously went to Elektro and scavenged but don't spend too much time there because it's survivors galore. Head inland and you'll find better weapons

I usually hit up nearby barns for the basic rifles and shotguns.

Use your mouse scroll while looking at the backpack and click take backpack, youll need to get your stuff from the other backpack though.

Maybe someone was cooking up a storm on a fire and it spread :o

I agree with Caviano, we don't need to know your life story, if I was you I wouldn't complain about surviving, think about those weaponless survivors getting mauled by zombies. I hope I find and kill you because theres nothing wrong with killing bandits :)

I'm trying to find them camo suits because they look bloody awesome, does anyone know where they spawn, I am not talking about ghillie suits.

If your playing on your timezone and its dark in real time, find a server with a different GMT, I usually go for GMT +10 or +8, maybe try an oppisite GMT, example -10

ARMA 2 needs to run other files such as the map you play on.

You must be sprinting around with a horde of zombies because I manage quite well.

Also test it out, the lower your 3D Res the better it will run, I also suggest clicking the Advanced tab and turning AntiAlaising off and post processing off, that's if your computers shit like mine :D

Go in settings and check your 3D graphic settings 100% is clear, lower than that will get more fuzzy

Today when I was playing I was at the NW airfield, I heard someone drinking, so I stayed in this little buiding, the survivor/bandit entered and I shot them. Should I feel bad, if I didn't shoot him he may of shot me instead.
