Hello fella's, Ok, so I'm having a problem with my sound being very very low. I don't exactly know when this started patch wise but its being going on for awhile now. I thought it was just certain servers that would have their sound turned down somehow. (I have no idea what all server admins can/cannot do, so don't yell at me for being stupid). I have no idea why my sound is so dampened, I have the music volume all the way down because that hammer hitting an anvil sound is beyond annoying. I have my effects turned all the up, and VON is about half way. I've reset to default a few times now and nothing has changed. If it matters at all I wear turtle beach x11's and I have to turn them all the way up to be able to hear like I use to. Before i noticed my sound being dampened, I played at maybe 1/4 volume on my turtle beach's and heard just fine. I've also checked all my computer sound levels all of them are maxed. I also use mumble to talk to friends when I'm playing and I know it has that built in dampen when someone talks but my sound is dampened even when I'm not in mumble and playing DayZ. So my question is, Does anyone know what has caused this or a way to fix it? It would be much appreciated because this is highly annoying not being able to hear other peoples foot steps. No this has been going on for almost a month now, I do know that when you're low blood your hearing is affected BUT I've died many times since this started happening and have been on quite a few different servers. Is it possible that I'm just permanently glitched into the low-blood hearing syndrome lol?

Ok so this fucking guy teleports everyone on the server to what looks like a military base, kinda like the tents in balota but it was bigger and had a concreate wall around it. I alt-f4 because fuck that, I'm not going to die to a hacker. Anyway I log onto another server and BAM I'm in the Northwest airfield. A downed helicopter is literally right next to my friend I (I was with a group of 4 people). A zombie pilot aggro's me and what do you know! I have no primary gun or pistol. My entire inventory got wiped except for my toolbelt and backpack. I lost an L85, nvg's, and rangefinder. EDIT: My friend was brave enough to log back onto the server that got hit while I was typing this and his inventory was back. Apparently his m24 is gone though, the primary gun he had out when the hacker hit.....I had my L85 out... One of my other friends though said that when he logged back in he died. So lets hope my L85 and back!

Following up on my medical request, Job is done thanks to SoulShaper2 and his over-watch. Great guys, very fast response as well. Very professional and know how to get the job done. Wouldn't mind one bit helping these guys out in the future if help is needed. Thanks again! -Drunz

Was just wondering if there is anyway to change my name, during the installation process I half minded skipped over the character naming process. I thought it was just computer specs about where the game was being installed. I was wrong lol, my name is now admin and thats a bit annoying. I say the profile option on the Arma menu's but it wouldn't let me edit my name. Would love a name change if at all possible, without having to re-install. Thanks, -Drunz

Thanks Frank, I tried making a new profile right after I had posted this, I thought it would make a complete new character but it just changes the name of your current character. I was going to post that here but it was late and I kinda got lost into playing the game again.

Ok so to follow up, Legdiin is an absolute life saver(puns?!). He's a great guy and totally trustworthy. He fixed my leg no problem, and before I was on my way he even gave me some blood! I was 4k down and he brought me back to the max 12k! Thanks again Legdiin! He also gave me a parting gift, a few m9 mags to go along with my g17 I had recently found, and only had 1 mag for. This guy is amazing, quick to respond, very helpful, and even threw some humor into. I completely recommend Legdiin to anyone in need, don't have to be paranoid with him around.

Hey guys was wondering if anyone was available to help, I'm currently stranded in a barn and a zombie broke my leg with one hit and somehow I'm not bleeding but I have broken leg -.-, I'm too scared to attempt to crawl down stairs seeing in how I've tried to crawl up them and have died doing so.
