Could be you aren't waiting long enough, there's a battleye issue as that is the last step before loading completes or that there is some data corruption connected to your cdkey/player ID on the hive in which case you need a character reset done by the devs and that could take up to a week or two to get done based on how fast they get to your ticket/emails. Best of luck to you broski hope you get this fixed I know it sucks and is super annoying.

um your opinion is your own, while im sure some share it and others dont care, the mod is what it is, its going standalone because people support it, with or without you it will continue to grow and thrive, enjoyed reading your opinion but personally I love the mod, I love Arma and have for a very long while, and again Alpha or not its pretty fucking impressive given the shit engine Rocket was working with.

The Arma engine, though not the best graphically, Is supper heavy on both your CPU and GPU. I don't really think you're going to find it easy to run this on your laptop mate. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

There is no parachute that's your issue. You may see a brief animation of the Chute or even think its working but the Chute animation is just there because it hasnt been fully taken out. The parachute itself doesn't work in game because you don't actually have one.

It really depends on what kind of server you are on. Recruit servers will actually show you on the map and anyone else within a certain range, Reg servers will show locations that other people have marked, Veteran/Expert Servers will only show what you have marked!

has nothing to do with launching the game or how it was installed, its simple data corruption in regards to the games hive. a file transfer during either a crash or freeze caused the character data to get corrupted and only thing that can solve it is a reset done by the support/dev team. launching using commander, cmd, six launcher or straight from arma OA doesnt make a difference

same thing happened to a friend of mine, over a week online with support having him reinstall the mod 50x, finally found it to be corrupted hive data, a character reset is needed though he was told it would only take 24 for the reset to occur its now been 6 days since he was told that so good luck getting yo shit fixed. Friends ID that is still waiting on reset in case a dev ever sees this 34158790

After over a week of troubleshooting an "Incorrect Version" issue, Johnathan @ Tech Support (Via Submited TroubleShooting Ticket) decided that indeed the issue that we were having was releated to corrupted hive data and that a Character reset was needed in order to fix this issue. We were told that it would take up to 24 hours to have this done. That was over 5 days ago now and no character reset has been sent and Spindrift (Tim) is still unable to log into any Hive server getting an error message saying "You are running an incorrect version of the server side application..." Again this was deemed to be a non-client issue as he has updated and installed over 4 times and each one done correctly using different methods but still unable to log into any server. Please reset his character already. Coming up on a week an a half not being able to log in due to Hive Data issues. Thank you for your attention in this matter Devs/Staff we understand you are very busy at this time but having his character reset would be great as we (there are 5 of us playing together) are very dedicated players to the DayZ community and look forward to helping both the game development and community grow. Fucking for serious? The new bandit skin is the normal skin with a Haji head rap. That's it? Hard to distinguish from a survivor (less u count the fact that your pack is missing). That's fucking horseshit. If I'm a bandit A: I don't want to look anything like a survivor or hero, B: what happened to being a bandit? Looking like any old survivor ( fact that a random dude as a survivor has a flak and gear is retarded to begin with) plus a towel on my head is garbage. choosing to pvp against other large player groups, and defending yourself against other armed players trying to kill you all lowers humanity and forces the bandit skin, not like we have a choice in which skin we get. Yes I could go lone wolf and help people and what not until i get shot in the back for trying to help but kiling snipers in cherno and at that airfield that are trying to ambush players is more fun and eventually starts to count as murders when you are constantly killing people who dont end up being bandits but are def. trying to pvp
