My buddy had a crash and now gets an error message saying he is running the wrong version of the server side application blah blah blah and basically what the dev/support team has said is that its a known issue that should be addressed in 1.7.2.5, My question is anyone have any idea when it's going to be released, can't find anything about it other than the locked pinned post saying August 1 which clearly is inaccurate. Any information would be awesome thanks.

Thanks for the feedback but he's re installed DayZ twice to no avail (To include Arma II and Operation Arrowhead to make sure it wasn't anything corrupted in the host game), and also it wasn't the normal artifact glith that most people experience, seemed as though it was a bit more severe than that though I did not see it myself he made it sound as though everything on the screen went pixelated then black then gray then his computer seized up completely.

1mil players in 4 months, doubling sales of Arma II just for the mod, and an awesome active community. Of course its going standalone. It's pretty awesome news... hopefully they get a different anti-cheat program to do something about the hacker infestation and this will be awesome. Pretty exciting shit for Rocket though. Glad this is happening can't wait to see the what he can do to polish a stand-alone. Will be awesome

majority of games these days cost $40, $50, or $60 bucks, now i know that Arma II is an older game but seriously you're actually getting 3 games for $30, I dont know what people are complaining about so much. $30 is nothing for a couple of good games, get a job ffs

Hacked items are not OK to be used. If you are caught with them you can be the one to suffer the consequences because there's no way to prove you aren't the one that hacked the weapon. So use away if you please but don't be surprised when u get the ban-hammer up your ass.

battleye is horrible they need to figure something else out, sucks that right now Rocket is stuck with it and Arma/Battleye are doing little to combat the problem for DayZ, even though DayZ has probably doubled the success of Arma2 in a matter of what 2-3 months... They should get on this

I gotta say I see why you did it but I dont condone it. If the positions were turned and you spawned into the general store in elektro to see someone with their back to you, you would open up on them in a heartbeat. dont alt-f4 its fucking lame no matter the reasons (suppose hackers are the exception cause they are legit cheating as where an alt-f4ing bitch is an exploiter)

I just never understood the whole hacking thing. What is fun about fucking with people, all you are doing is showing that either A: you suck at the game and cant win without cheating, Or B: you have no life and are bored with the game so you resort to using hacks to fuck with people. If its the ladder then seriously go outside play some sports or go for a run or meet a girl. Do something else with your life, cause when you get to this point you're just annoying, its not funny and you dont profit from it... seriously just fuck off. Also calling these lame ass script kiddies "hackers" is an insult to people who can actually hack. These kids couldnt write the program or hack a game to save their lives they just buy a little script and play with it.
