Me and some friends were fixing the chopper on the island yesterday and was using a V3S to carry all our loot/parts/jerry cans. We found our final pieces of glass, loaded up with jerry cans and made the final swim to the island. Less than halfway there, one of us turns around and watches the V3S drive off with all our spare ammo/guns & food. Props to whomever pulled that gank off. The chopper was fun though. :)

Pretty much my thinking too. I got a G36 Camo SD in my bag now. Don't need it or use it, but I'd rather have it in my bag than in the hands of someone who wants to kill me.The thermal AS50 is ridiculously OP'd though. Even no talent scrubs can dominate with it. It's the "Easy Button" of sniper rifles.

Was on this server for awhile last night. Found a few tents and a random bus in the SW corner. Found the remains of one of the tent cities, but it looks like someone satchel charged it as half the forest around it was destroyed too. Lots of shady stuff going on too. Killed a group of people camping the south side of Elektro. One had a G36 SD and the others would get killed, only to show back up w/ AS50s 5-10 minutes later.

Hacked item or legit? I found 8 of them in a broken down UAZ today. Only item in it's gear that looked out of place. Haven't used one yet either. If it's something I can level a firehouse with, I'd like to save them for a rainy day. ;)

There were roughly 20 in the area (obvious duping) mostly loaded with insane amounts of gear. I think the only things that were missing was a rocket launcher, Mountain Dew and a radio. BTW, yes I know the AWS is a hacked gun, but I had to try it out just to see what it's about (I can see why it's not allowed in the game...insanely OP'd). Ended up leaving with the L85, AS50 and a nice fill of ammo for both as well as a few satchel charges for entertainment. :)

Saw someone on top of Elektro hospital. This was back when ladders were one of the most dangerous opponents in the game and he fell off the ladder to the lower level. As he stuck the morphine in his leg, I stuck my hatchet into his skull. :)

Not gonna lie...I'd ask them to spawn me a tank. lol

On a related note, I always sweep camper mountain across from the lighthouse for this very reason. Even found a couple camps up there.

If putting 6 layers of barbed wire down keeps someone from climbing up there and getting a gun that can kill me, so be it.

Got killed 3x by hackers today in about 2 hours. The best was on US865. Got the ol insta-death which was followed up with a user named Apevia on voice comm saying "Boom, got ya!" I can't get on a server w/ more than 15 people w/o getting killed by a hacker anymore. :(

I have two confessions. First, me and a friend were sniper hunting on the hills NE of Elektro when we spoted a fresh spawn searching the east firehouse in Elektro. He had no gun, so we just watched him through our binocs for amusement until he got on the roof. He proceeds to sprint around the roof for a good minute, frantically checking the ladder and staircase to see if anyone was coming up. He then climbs all the way to the top of the firehouse and crouches down while scanning the city. My friend squeezes off a few shots w/ his AKM at him which I can see makes him bleed. He goes prone, then gets up and bandages himself. At this point, I figured he'd climb down off the roof, but he continues to stay on the roof, scanning the area to see who shot him. This time, I pop a few shots into him w/ my CCO SD and we see he's bleeding once again. I'm guessing he was low on blood at this point given his next move was to take a gainer off the top of the firehouse and kill himself. I really did feel like a scumbag for that one. I think his name was Felix. Felix, I'm sorry. :( Also, me and the same friend ganked two survivors in Cherno. I was on the high ground near triple yellow, again w/ my CCO SD. My friend had just been killed and was running to Cherno from Balota. As he's coming into town, I spot two survivors ahead of him, running to the supermarket. They exit supermarket, clear out the red house next to it before heading to fire station. My friend gets on voice comm and starts telling them he's friendly and he's just trying to get back to his friend who's hurt. He leads them out the front door of the firehouse and right into the trap. Shot both of them between firehouse and the apartment blocks.

I liked the part where you killed them all. :)

Stop blaming the dreaded COD kids. Everyone always does it and blames the current woes of a game on it so they don't have to admit that their community is made up largely of assholes.

I was in Thunderdome once. Unfortunately, the big downie that I rode around on got killed by the above leather-clad Aussie. So much for running Bartertown. :(

I'm only afraid of two things in DayZ 1. Goats...everytime I come across a goat, I usually die or something bad happens 2. Doors/Gates...way more dangerous than zeds or other players

I like it when people have this attitude. We had a group that got killed by a hacker that teleported us into the air yesterday. Between the four of us, we had almost 50 hours alive. We all Q_Q'd for a minute before finding an Enfield/axe/Winny and starting our quest to get back everything we lost. I definitely had more fun running around Cherno/Elektro killing snipers than running back and forth between NWAF/Stary/Berezhino.

Ran into both of these yesterday. Fell from the sky on DK2 and Thunderdome several times on US146. Even got teleported into an open area full of bear traps once too. I was a little salty about getting killed on DK2 (lost all my gear), but the Thunderdome and bear trap teleport were pretty funny.

The ability to leave notes opens the door to a whole new level of lulz, which I wholeheartedly support. :)

I always set mine up right on the runway at NWAF. No one would ever think to look there. Just run out there and check it out. B)

This is my western route... -Hit the three deer stands between Kamenka and Pavlovo -Bypass Pavlovo and head east towards Bor for three more stands. -NW into Zeleno, hitting the barn on the hill before going to the market. -N/NW out of Zeleno up to Myshkino where there's four -Cut between Pustoshka & Vybor to hit the deer stands west of Stary. Also be on the lookout for choppers in that area. -Run the tents at Stary and leave out the NE side of town for the three stands north of Novy. -Head NW to the airfield. Depending on server pop and zed count, I may only hit the southern barracks. That's just what I do. Unfortunately, I know I'm not the only one that does this, so be wary of other players.

I'm impartial to the ones who spam shots to try to hit a running target. Keep shooting at me while I randomly zigzag and stop. You're just making it easier for my overwatch to find you. :)

You got lucky. I've lost several guns and Coyote bags because of that annoying little glitch.Nice kills too. lol @ a ghillie suit being in an urban area too.

This is where I usually find mine. I've found two or three at the army tents on the east side of Cherno.The only thing I don't like about the ammo fix is that combined w/ the last damage patch, the 1911 is nothing more than a paperweight. Also, like someone said earlier, dupers gonna dupe. :(
