Yeah it's late. Have to go to bed dreaming nightmares about bad guys who shoot innocent people :'( .. Nah but just kidding. The last part was the funniest so thank you 28 DayZ for visiting and giving us some action ;) Was hoping for a full group of bandits who would just try to storm through the main gate but.. this was good too^^

I faint everytime I spawn in a server

Yeah got the same problem. I got shock when hit by a zombie (and fell down the stairs then^^) and my internet died. I logged back in and was unconcious like it is normal if you log out while in shock. I got epi from my friend who was standing beside me. I played about an hour and logged out. When I logged back in I was unconcious again this time I didn't get epi but let the timer run off but still this repeats 3 or four times even after hours of playing normal and logging in the next day.. but then it didn't happened anymore. I think it's some buggy effect of the shock. -
Yea if a zombie gets killed it'll respawn soon... If you see something lilke 100/500 you'll know that there will be spawning a huge number of zombies somewhere^^ These nubers doesn't really help you as a player though. It's just interesting for the developers to see how many zombies a server can handle.

No there are no rules. And most of the players shoot on sight. Some players still take the risk to see if someone is friendly though. Best way is to cover behind a wall or so and use ingame voice (capslock) to try to find out if he's friendly or not. If he does not responds and is maybe aiming at me I'll shoot him but I try not to if possible. Also leaning (pressing Q and E repeated is a sign of a friendly player.. of course you don't know if you can trust them....)

You can do nothing. This problem is in the view of the developers already and they will be doing something in future patches to resolve this problem

Have you started Steam as administrator? If not it could be possible that your CD keys weren't changed.

There are plenty of guides here.. like this one: http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/1808-guide-installation-guide-steam-retail-mixed-beta-common-errors/ I recommend to use the Six Launcher. It will do all the work for you (installing/updating arma/dayz).

Change the timezone to a different time of the server location?

Yeah you can choose whatever time zone you want -
I use Six for updates and Commander for finding servers

Guy is shooting at us and it's getting dark now....

There is a flare outside. Zombies will get distracted by it and are not coming into the fort. And also players will see our fort faster
