Well I asked about GFX but while we're on it I'm pretty sure that CPU speed is under the minimum requirements. Best bet though is to click that link that InsideDreamer provided you and let that site test your system for Arma2.

I'm gonna say.... I think you'd struggle. What's the GFX card for the laptop? Are they both the same? Or what?

So far I've put on a Gillie and did not remove my pack, I didn't get any problems. I have a camo clothing in my inventory now which I'll put on when I'm next playing. By the way the Cammo looks blurry unless you have the BAF DLC then it is sharp and pretty.

Just flush your video memory it's easier quicker and works.

I think it's a little unfair on the Arma engine side of your argument. Ten years to make? They only had a tiny little team to start out with OFP, twelve I think. How big are your average game studios?

I only ever see people complain about hacking on American servers, odd. Try a UK one if you get a decent ping.

As someone has said... Hold left shift while double tapping minus on the number pad then type flush. This has worked for me 100% of the time :)

A good tip is to crawl around it to flatten the grass so you can see the items.

Upgrade or overclock really. Anyone who runs the game for a while then finds it slows down try the memory flush command. Seems to work :) Hold left shift and double tap minus on the number pad then type flush. You will know if it's done right because the screen goes black and says it's activated the flush. This also helps with the graphical artifacting a lot of people get.

You can gain a bit of performance by opening the task manager while ingame, find the arma process and right click on it. Select set priority and set it to high. It will warn of instability but it's that or nothing really.... Short of over clocking the shit out of it or just upgrading.

I think you mean, the bag is visibly gone but if you go to gear it is there? Although, the bag has been replaced with a patrol pack when you DID have an Alice? That's not normal, it does get hidden with the Gillie but it should not change :( Best to put the bag on the floor first then pick it back up.
