Saying that speeding down the road in a car does not possibly impact other people, if you can't see how it can and does..... I know, it impacts the players on the server that play the game THE WAY THE DEV'S WANT IT TO BE PLAYED. It impacts the player who is cheating by using a weapon/vehicle that is not supposed to be in the game, it impacts them by telling them they can't cheat on our server, and to go somewhere else where cheaters are welcome, like NO56 for instance. Just the fact that many, many, many servers out there remove players using scripted in weapons/vehicles and do not get blacklisted shows you that the "team" accepts it, for what reason I do not know. You have been told by staff members to stop going into threads and doing this.

This shows the extent of your character. Hacking is wrong, whether it is disruptive hacking or non disruptive hacking (don't really think there is a difference, but that's just me). You shouldn't do it PERIOD. On one side you say it is ok to do it in other games, yet it's not ok to do it in Arma 2. Can't have it both ways, either you believe it is ok to do it or it's not ok.

The weapon is not in the game for a reason, what that reason is, I do not know. If it is not a legit weapon, not in the loot tables, you can't use it. Drop it or be removed from the server. TBH I don't know why I am discussing this with a self admitted hacker. You hacked in plenty of games previously, and for all we know still are hacking in them. You cheated your ass off for who knows how long in other games, ruined peoples experiences in them and then come here and say you have "seen the light", BS! We will continue to make our server a fun place to play on to the best of our ability. We will remove all scripters/hackers/cheaters. We have been doing it for months, and guess what, only one report on our server and it wasn't blacklisted. So that says either the "Staff" doesn't care, doesn't read all the posts, or they have a lick of commonsense and know that some of the bans, even though they go against the current rule set, are for the good of the game as a whole.

And any SA that want's to keep his server a fun place to play the game will remove the player if they are using a scripted in weapon. People can scream Admin abuse all day long, it isn't.

Sometimes commonsense has to kick in. If someone is using something that was NOT intended to be used, they are CHEATING. I can't say why the DayZ team sees fit not to do something about it, maybe they are just lazy, maybe they don't give a damn, I don't know. What I do know is that people who use weapons and vehicles that are not intended to be in the game will not play on our server, and I bet the majority of the other SA's out there agree with that.

Of course I know the difference. By the rules though, the only person who could be banned would be the person who spawned the stuff, we could spend the entire day rolling through your server in tanks and BlackHawks destroying stuff, and you would not ban us. That is the result of you blindly following "the rules"

Everyone should go to AndreasB's server, have someone spawn some tanks and Blackhawks, some RPG's and spend a few hours destroying the fun of everyone on the server.

Come to our server and try your luck at posessing a scripted weapon/vehicle and not droping it when asked to. The private hive server do quite well BTW

Cheater, using something that is not legitimatly in the game (common sense), problem is this community is severely lacking in it.

We make sure our server is free of scripters/hackers/cheaters. It is not our fault that the current rule set caters to those exact people. It boggles most SA's minds that the rules haven't been updated. You continue on with your campaign to get servers blacklisted who are just trying to make an enjoyable place for people to play DayZ.

We will continue with our policy. Two months, no complaints, no reports for "retarded admin abuse" You're invited over anytime to try your luck.

Don't bother, we will continue the way we have been doing things, be ause it make sense. Saying you cant remove someone from your server who is knowingly using an illegal weapon/vehicle make no sense what so ever.

That quote by Rocket is talking about a global ban, not a server ban. I'll say it again, IT IS COMMON SENSE. For someone to say that just because a player didn't script the stuff in they can't be banned defies common sense. Any SA that cares about their server and the players on it would NOT allow someone to continue playing using a weapon/vehicle that is NOT IN THE GAME. We will continue to warn players to drop the weapon, and if they don't they will be kicked, if they return with the scripted weapon they will be removed from the server. <----That is what a GOOD SA does, the bad ones allow the player to continue on. If you want to test out your theory of a SA being blacklisted for banning someone who is knowingly using a scripted in weapon/vehicle, come to our server and test that out.

They are cheating and have an unfair advantage over players who play legit.
