Chernarus Plus will be the map for SA, as there are new areas and changes to the landscape, there is a place for a Highway. It would fit the scenario. It could be on a map edge demonstating a failed escape staging / evacuation area (think road blocks, wrecks, smoke, dead bodies) Even in a minor city we see wrecks lining up on the road. An out of city graveyard of cars is plausable.

No, not a good set of ideas for this game / Mod. You state there are drawbacks, If there are drawbacks are they good ideas to introduce? they wouldn't fit this game nor would your ideas benefit it. Not meaning to be offensive but they are not realistic points.

Some of you need to read the reports. Stop being stupid with stupid comments as 2 guys' lives are involved. Fact's are 2 people went on holiday and were arrested in their Hotel. what a strange place to be arrested for millitary sensitive evidence!! How did the Pig's know where and what? the Map in game is scaled down and represents no direct correlation to the actual Island and it is based on future fictional events. BI have stated they were not there for the game. Nice to know you can go to Greece and be arrested for taking pictures and camera footage for 20? years. I've been to Greece many times and Stood near millitary places with a camera taking pictures even standing with their armed forces. this to me stinks of selective discrimination on a political level. A point proving exercise. So what, they took footage and pictures, 20 years for spying? what did they record? A fucking U.F.O.? A politian snorting coke of a donkeys arse? or a Spartan staging area? Story is getting out of hand for a simple mistake. Now they may have to wait up to a month to appeal for a strike? that in itself says all i need to know about the Greek judicial system. Justice! Strike! I can't help but feel either way, the damage is done to the poor guys and their families. my sympathy no matter even if they were found guilty.

When a game is released and you play it sometimes you can get bored of it pretty Quickly, You won't get bored of DayZ. When you play a game and you feel emotions you sometimes don't feel in your real life, that's DayZ. When you want to play in an environment that is not considered a normal playing size, with things to discover all over, that's DayZ. When you are told by forum posters not to buy it or wait till SA yet they still post about a game they don't play that's the DayZ effect. You will never know unless you try, and if you have been waiting to try it for a while, try it you won't regret it. Oh and all those who say "wait for the standalone" just remember when the SA comes out there will still be a community outside of the SA, where the fun will still be happening and changing all the time.

I have had this issue when running straight into a spawn point and not giving it enough time, think it of as this way. When you approach a zed infested place you would not just run blindly into the location, You would sneak in. this would give the area a spawn of gear. You can try running away again and then back, You will find stuff has spawned. Use search for spawning items on the main forums page, there are lots who explain it better.

What about a skateboard for downhill Run's? hand held Lawnmower? Space hopper? Combined Harvester? Robin Reliant (3 wheel car, think Mr Bean) Rickshaw - Respected medics preffered mode of transport)

Some amazing stuff in this, the jump over wall in it's self would change DayZ in a big way!!!

You can play these roles in game, No need for classes. Giving Classes benefits makes the game an arcade experience.

I can see a train moving through the map, on fire and speeding through a few times in a server run. I would stop and gawp in shock.

Side note: Imagine coming across a camp / base and you steal a wheel of a vehicle? I'd pay to see the looks on a players face. 4 vehicles and wheels missing.

Could this be part of the crafting element? there are cars all over Chernarus, what i found frustrating was If i wanted a wheel I couldn't get one off a wreck! I suppose you could introduce a scavenger aspect on top of the finding loot, Freeing up industrial areas with more different Loot spawns instead of engines and wheels for eg. Map takistan has a similar area but with millitary vehicle near the northern airfield, walking through the vehicle graveyard adds an immense ammount to the tension when you find another player there. Lets hope Chernarus plus has a stretch of road added to it with a car cemetary. I'd visit often. :thumbsup: I'd love to see roaming hordes of zeds walk through it, A la walking dead style, this would scare me to death and my heart would explode. :o

In Arma 2 there is a command mode where you give orders and can read instructions (You know with the cow bell tingle) "enemy 12 o clock" "Stay in formation" Only downside is it is gonna be removed / Streamlined for SA.
