It's all business, Icebreaker made a map because he likes to expand on an original idea and said you could use it for anything bar making money and Military use. Only thing is here you have a company making money from maps of other makers and give nothing to the map makers. well if the map makers allow use of their maps for free and I hosted it on my server but charged sub's to other users / players then should i also be shamed for hosting it? Lets go one step further and say i was a server on DayZ Commander. Would I get the same treatment? Whaaa delete Michaelvoodoo he is hosting a map and making money and the Original map maker dosen't like it, well I would be forced to remove the map I wouldn't expect DayZ Commander to be shelved because it provided access to it. Im all for rights, But if i paid the map maker would all be fine with DayZ Commander? wheres the community spirit?

Don't Vilayer offer buyers a choice of which map they run? If there is demand for a map, then why don't the map makers offer a DayZ version? I would sooner prefer this to a company who makes money from others work. If they make a great map, then wouldn't the makers just say no to other mod additions or editing? Or have i got it back to front? Don't other people buy / rent servers from them?

that is it, the final straw, I have had enough of being ignored. I'm leaving DayZ because Rocket doesn't frequent the forums as much, I find it outrageous he would not support his own Mod's and future SA by listening to fans opinions and suggestions. NOOOO Rocket would rather spend his time with his real friends and not us twats. I'm going to WarD as they reply to their fans on their forums I would rather hear shite than nothing at all. :P

I like this idea, Would make Island hopping more accessible (???) I would love for offshore Boats for exploration, But would offer snipers a perfect choice for erm... Sniping. Betver still I would like enterable boats in one of the many harbours on the coast as well as some further out.

Please don't do anything rash! If you could add other sources of the map hosting that would be O.K (Providing owners are repsected) But please don't stop all new maps updates.

DayZ Commander is a great tool for DayZ. If you can give me a tool that does it as easily and simple, then I could be persuaded from using it. However If Modders have an issue with their maps then thats their business with Vilayer. I can not believe they haven't brought it up with Vilayer on copyright grounds on a commercial basis. I am a deep fan of ownership and respect map owners views on this matter. DayZ Commander offers users the latest maps and allows me to play them, that is all I want. If it is with other host provider I don't mind as long as it is for free. tbh all other maps bar Chernarus, Lingor and Panthera are crud so I don't play them. I don't want to be copying files in and out and changing lines of code, I want simple update and play types of programmes most of us do. Only when there is a problem do people shout "down with ###############" Give me other choices for other maps and I will choose them over Vilayer, But until you do, I will stick with what I know works. I hope the SA acts on this, I will welcome it, But for now I believe the community needs more than two outlets for the Mod, whether this is Commander or not. An in game update on SA would sort this out (With permission from map creators who give it away for public use)

Like the first two, Not bothered about temperature checking. I would like to find Notes as opposed to keys, that would add dimension to the game in so many regards. If you added keys they would be pointless with crowbars and Boltcutters.

Fear can make other players do this. He was scared and probably thought you were going to do the same to him. I have been in this situation before and I would run away or hide, Not offereing them a chance. You should have been more vigilant. Shit happens and It is not going to get any easier, I hope the SA gets rid of hackers and duping for the most part then the gear collecting will be worth doing like it was at first.

I know of servers with more zed spawns but aint come across it while in a publicesrver. Unless you are inside one of those apartments, If i aggro one zed while on the first step i get a shit load more after me.

Buy it now immediately, I demand it. There is so much more to Arma 2 than DayZ and I doubt the SA will have all the new (if any) maps. some of the new maps expand on DayZ and make the Mod better.

If they worked like They are meant to then they will be fine in the SA. I know Rocket is making the Zeds able to run inside buildings so those buildings with fixed open doors will be an issue to the game. What I would be disappointed with is when you shut a door and they still come in, That would kill some aspect of play for me I would like to think Zeds are stupid and would sooner break a door down as opposed to turning the handle (handle type considered) If i shut a door, I would expect Zeds to knock and howl until either they got in or I left. Its just a shame we cannot adjust furniture in game to build a barricade to prevent Zeds access to our lonely shivering scared corpses.

Do you know you can kill bandits anyways? See a bandit and kill them! No need for complex measures, just spot and kill them, Remember the 2 main threats of DayZ are Zeds and Bandits. No classes No awards No prisons (I'm assuming it was Prison and not Prissons?) Just Killing. I think you should look at what you wrote and ask yourself if DayZ is the right game for you? Im not sure your ideas are suitable for DayZ. Have you heard of WarZ? you may find what you want there, the devs like good ideas!!

You spawn alone, you die alone. No need to spawn together, you could meet up with friends and meet up at a preset arranged time in order to spawn together from your last playing session. The amount of abuse by being able to spawn near other players will kill the game for team players. I could by your theory spawn into a group and kill you all off. Say you and your mates have TS it wont be hard to find each other. Whereas I find a better experience when you bump into other friendly players and have a good session together non planned. Play the game as it is meant to be played, find your friends and go together after finding them. what you do after that is your own making.

I'm still waiting for the Vilayer maps they mentioned a while back. more maps are good for DayZ, Will expand the community and spread out the twats who Just kill everyone. OP good idea maybe we'll get one? People have been asking for a snow map for ages now!
