I only play on chat servers, this allows me to be an on the spot medic. I have no issue with pre - ordering a medic but when your in the server when the shit happens it can be interesting trying to patch up a player still in the line of fire. There is a couple of threads for finding people who want to play, try there as there are some good people. Bandit campfire and Survivor HQ.

Side chat is good, expect to die more often if you remove it. It serves as a useful tool also, why not ask your players what they think? That way you'll get satisfaction by offering what players want!

Can't u trace who got the kill shot? I've seen in many servers the " jim was shot by John with a tin opener"

I have mixed luck depending on how long the server has been running for, sometimes a reset will start the Loot spawn mechanic again. I have been on lots of servers where only tins, flares and axes spawn regularly.

Chernarus is fine the way it was, I only hope they haven't taken the "look" away!

A lack of imagination springs to mind, What you mention are the scratches on the surface. There is so much more to the setting and environment of the game. If after all the maps released and sever choice available you still haven't found a continually enjoyable way to play then all I would suggest (and do if it was me) would be to put DayZ on the shelf and find something else to play. Try that Game where they stack shit as high as they can in a vain attempt, I think it's called WarZ. How people don't get their hearts racing all the time (Not just confrontations) is beyond me. This game must have given you a reason to buy it in the first place? what was it?

I was seriously liking the map at first because it was a dangerous place to play, Then it became where everyone was just running around, all clueless and in need of help / co-operation. It changed a lot of players as I have never known players to be as approachable since month after mod popularity. You will always get the killers and bandits, I figure they are the ones who don't use chat.

Next time your in proximity to someone in game shout " I'm not friendly" and watch what happens. For some reason people find it funny and lower,their guard! It's far more satisfying than shouting Friendly!

You sure about this? More vehicles especially ones for a specific purposes will be signifying a direction of play! Ambulances for medics, public transport for survivors, and an ice cream van for me!

You see with chat enabled I find more people willing to be friendly. Only today a player was freezing to death and needed some heat pads, I obliged and met him near south base! He lived and he kindly gave me his car, which I promptly tried to fill up and crashed, and the zombies ate me slowly. Not ten mins later I was with another stranger giving him blood and he in turn sorted me out and off we went. Even had a kid on voice help me out, I typed he spoke, was a surprise to meet a 14 year old who didn't open up with his weapon. We played a while and had a laugh! I gave him blood Nd he logged out. I find Namalsk a friendly place because the environment requires you help each other!

Where is it? Most forums I have joined have a shout box, a live message box. This would benefit this forum as I know a lot of people spend a lot of time here! Don't mention the lag!

Are you new to this game? I used to run into the water to slow the zeds down when I first started playing out of fear. Don't get me started on the climbing zeds

No, not a fan. Player lives are many, most players who have killed me have hidden the body if you have the hide body option then you don't need any more body search / info options. Chances are if you kill them u know what they died of. Now if it's voyeurism you want, let's petition for diaries, that way you'll learn a lot more about dead players!
