Easy, I sit back and read silly comments like this every week, take this out, put that in, yet half of you havent played the game/Mod, and those who have played have played for a few hours. Some of you are all waiting for the SA and havent got a clue what you are on about. Then theres the other few who are here from Warzzzzzzz hiding out because your beloved game sucks cock. Let's not forget those who died in game because of a feature and then come on here to moan like schoolgirls (Which is what OP sounds like) Play for a while longer and you'll see it dosen't really matter nor does it offer any real advantage a experienced player can not play around (I consider it a challenge to play people, them in 3DP and me 1st person view) There was a reason for 3rdPV in the game, do some research and find it (I cant remember rockets comments but it was, Hint, peripheral senses) You have to remember this is a game, let some elements be used wether they are "REAL" or not. Bottom of story, Leave it in, let players choose. Simples!

No keep 3d view, Ban 1st person view, this only attracts fps fans and most (Emphasis on most) are short span gamers. DayZ is a game that requires longer attention span of a game, so if there is no 1st person view, it might not attract COD/BF gamers (U plants) 1st Person only when you go prone that will annoy more players.Keep 3DV, Ban 1st person view, becaue half of you would not be able to sense or hear things over a fence. You know if you keep quiet you can tell the directions of stuff around you? Oh yeah, you can compensate head bob by rocking the opposite way from your character on your chair while playing, this will stop you from chucking up. Servers can choose what view players play (Funny how more choose 3DP?) There was an video a while back where rocket stood up and had in the background a presentation screen with some of the information on, I believe it was a player info screen he hoped would be in the SA, it was quiet informative. 08.12 look at the screen!! (Listen before the time given you will see his plans to intergrate lots of mediums together)

Nowt wrong with this idea, there are a lot of scooter types of transport in Russia. Then again if you meant the scooter (Non motorised) kids use on those stunt ramp's, then you need one wrapping around your neck.

The Mod and also the SA are based well after the outbreak. We have sugested many times a scripted event for when choppers crash, just to keep it fresh so players can't camp the crash sites. and it would be a great addition to see it in game (Like the train just running through the map on fire not stopping) I've always seen DayZ as an experience and not a story based game. You never know after the SA is released someone may do some additional mod work of it.

Has anyone told Apache? You can't get wed without Apache.

3DP will not be removed from the game, it will probably be a server side setting like so much of the features for the SA. The choice would be more welcomed than a tried and proven preference. Its a feature in a game and some of you are acting like it's a major problem and some of you are just moaning because you simply don't like it, it's called 3Dist ;) And for those who say it's only becasue your used to it and can't picture a new way to look at it, No your right, I play the game in 3D because i like it, I don't like it all the time but the choice is better than being forced to play a certain way that is not my story. Give players the choice and do not force us to play a certain way. I could play FPV but the FOV needs to be drasticaly improved as it is not very good for FOV.

And when you are bitten, you suffer visions of being surrounded by zombies, but the zombies are your squad mates and you attack them or they make you panic and freak out o the point of being debilatating. The more you are bitten the more blurry the screen becomes...... no wait!

I for one would not be playing this game if there were no Zeds in. I agree with a lot regarding the "core" parts of the game, they are what makmes it worth playing. But Even i would draw the line at Vamp and Lycans.

there are variations to what you can wear on different servers and providers. Some even have the Warm clothing like on Namalsk, I have seen all kinds of clothing and sometimes Character skins also. It just depends on the servers you play on. Some settings are not enabled on all servers and can cause you to be kicked.

DayZ, Metro and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. are great games in their own right and most DayZ players should play them for what they are, seperate games. Im not one for games copying each other and trying to imitate each others game play. There are a lot of things broken in the mod, but the SA will fix those issues, but then again there will always be things in game people don't like and will comment on. leave the games as seperate games that way you will enjoy it more that way.

I thought the players were immune from the infection? or are we talking about one of the many new infections being introduced to the game which will change the DayZ experience beyond recognition? Making changes to the Zeds is all good and proper but after a while they will have the same traits and people will find ways around them. Periodic changes to zed behaviour (Weather changes, Day / night, crowd numbers, player interaction, sound, smell, vision) should be used, offering players a non stable and always changing zed behaviour.
