I'm a medic in game, I go well out of my way to help those who need it, what's naive about that? It's how YOU play the game. Yes there are different styles out there and all players should be careful. Adapt to survive. Why? Because I find it a hell of a lot more rewarding than simply shooting players, which to me is a cowardly thing and the scourge of gaming in this day and age. Most games are built on the premise of killing others, what a poor reference. I recall the rocket man himself mentioning that the game needed changing to the point where players will have no choice but to help each other. If they had used more zombies there will be a lot more in which the threat from them would be more deadlier as opposed to other players. Take into account also shooting players around zombies will undoubtedly attract them, try conserving ammo on servers then when they reset every so few hours. This in itself will promote server hoppers which needs a better fix than a log out timer. (Have permanent day/night cycles on all servers, this will separate men from mice and give players a better playable experience) End of the day, players com end go. When the KOSers leave due to boredom (as happened in the mod and will happen here) the game will be all the more better for it. That changes coming will make it hard for everyone to play kill on sight except for the dedicated few. Role on..... -

Its fine spending your money on what you want. However, if I invest in the company / developers I do expect progress. The SA has had regular progress and constant communications since release. No other games out there have had the level of this. -

Roaming zombie hoardes, it seems to find any you need to be in the places where the towns or bases are. Too many times I have been taken out by KOSers in the middle of nowhere, what we need is a constant threat to everyone, everywhere. The game at the mo feels a little boxed in as far as the zombies are concerned. They are a limited threat with little effort to lose or smite. -

Bullet to the head, game over for them. Melee attack, Slows them down. Wasn't there a suggestion of having them slower based on how long they were alive for and their feeding habits?

Give me lots anyday of the week, but make them menacing. KOS will slow down, if they think they can shoot a rifle and not attract Zeds. I want lots, I mean Lots, Like rocket showed in the blog videos, crawlers, walkers and violent ones who just want to rip out a brain or two. -

Learn your controls first. How many times have players died because they pressed the wrong buttons? I once rolled off a roof, while pressing what I thought was Standing. I felt a right Twat. -
Mine does this on random servers. The choice of servers gives me everything but my selected character.

Time should be taken to get the vehicles right, plus what the guy above me said.

Sparcity and vehicles with changing spawn locations. Be truly lost until you find a memorable location. The map will feel much bigger

I have a similar setup, I can play well. Only difference is I have DayZ on my main SSDD and I cant fault it. Though with ATI GPU issues and DayZ next time will be Nvidia. Unless optimisations occur that is -

I have had the exact same thing, seems my ATI card is at fault. Now and again it will feck about but it is more stable now than it was a few weeks back. More zombies, once you have an axe, they are no threat. (Even after latest patch) And Binoculars, I need these for scouting before entering the once deadly towns and Airfields.

Alphas should be banned. DayZ should not have been released as is. People were too impatient. Most if the Dev video blogs looked better than the current build and had more items in. Look back at some of them you will see what I mean. Sometimes too much work done leads to bigger flaws. Whats going on? First and foremost a fan and player of the Game.

I played this weekend for a few hours, I did not mind rynning around for kit once I jad my trusty axe. After that looking for loot was a hard task. Refreshed server and limited items. But this will not be the final build. There is future hope.

The new NWAF. I made a prediction of it being the new town up center north a while back, the roads and layout support this.. I was hoping the north would have a refugee camp of sorts, with a sewer system running the length of the map. Anyone who played on Utes will realise there was not much there so if still included this is going to need something substantial. And considering the spawn requirements of the game, it will affect gameplay and that bubble thing.
