    It would be nice to see a chopper crash when the crash site spawns, Instead of it magically appearing. I was stood in a field once and BAM, chuffing chopper crash site smack bang in front of me. Happened so quick I was in and out before zombies spawned.

    Don't do Islands without reliable transport. You don't want to feel that pain.
  6. I was just going to say the same thing, From what I have read anyway there is going to be a lot more to be scared of. (Has everyone read the update?) Damned game is about survival not moan because it is hard. they are meant to be one of the main threats along side other players, anything requiring better planning and less risk taking gets my vote. the devs of the mod are only human with a limited platform to work with. give them a break (Not aimed at anyone in particular)

    huh? No Utes was added as a seperate island map for the Mod. I only hope Utes has some unique features in order to want to visit it, I had a bad experience on it before.

    grappling hooks and balancing

    throws grapple hook, grapple catches, player climbs, player still climbing, player just about to give up and gets shot. Player dies. I could not see this in DayZ with the ammount of stuff a typical character carries. this is not tenchu.

    they should make single player for dayz standalone

    By the sounds of it we might as well get a single player game, with all the work being done on it. Pssst new update. there are a lot of players out there who are not fans on multiplayer but would love to experience the DayZ thing. If it was specifically made for single players without a lot of the onine play I honestly think it would be a great purchase.

    Perhaps a pen knife with a few other tools built in? I have one for survival weekends mine has a tin opener in.

    I played Utes when it was ported over for DayZ, It was a PVP nightmare, trying to get on the main Island was hell, campers in the trees and lighthouse. If Spawns are on Utes there will need to be a harbour full of boats in order to get off it.

    I would be playing DayZ with the above, but i would sooner have a version which has official approval and support. I am still waiting for a single player game, perhaps it could have elements not wanted in the SA? A game goal and missions to extend the DayZ universe perhaps? You could give a decent game and story in a single player game. more about the history and events? Would sell well too.

    Are you using D.C? try updating everything in it. Oh and also resetting your P.C. after updating has saved me from some real painful issues.

    A few more boats, would be nice in the Harbours, even as an aesthetic look, maybe a place to hide when you hear gun shots in town / locality. With the addition of Utes a ferry would be a great idea (A wreck of course or non fuctional) With limited boat spawns in the Mod we would need a suitable way to get back and forwards, I was always surprised with Chernarus being a coastal location and a lack of boats. Piracy could take to the open sea. In my experience as a lone wolf, swimming was the only way to access islands as boats were rare, I just hope more boats are added :thumbsup:
