I take about 30 minutes before I am fully kitted up. It should be harder and longer with a random spawn of kit everywhere, not the usual places. Unless your in a group or team I see no value in this. When playing the game you should be under threat or near one or some form of challenge, not sat down playing instruments, keep that for real life.

When I was on barracks (real life job) we had a selection of eastern block weapons, American weapons and a world wide selection. These were used daily to understand potential enemy capabilities and like all weapons, to use if needed. It didn't feel foreign to me. Many Armies / security forces have a wide range. So having it feel like a specific country does not mean anything. This is a game. Pure and simple. People like familiarity so the SA should include items people are aware of. If thats a problem for you, use what you like. Exept the masks, they cuck socks.

I have a 7900 card, and I sometimes get this, but mine also black screens and makes me very angry. have you tried updateing drivers?

Have you given the medication time? do you play long hours at a time or just little bits of time here and there? I have a similar long lifed character and have taken meds and healed by strangers but I don't get this issue. Perhaps you could create another player and see if this happens to them also.

Thats fine and well mate, but when the items are in places you simply can't reach it becomes a bit trying. Oh look something on the wardrobe top, I have arms to reach and a dot to point to it, but can I get it? i should be able to climb this bed to reach items, but I just don't seem to be able to, etc It would be fine if you have the dot in a search mode, ie Tab button pressed, just for locating items, but it dissapears then.

It will happen mate, It is early days. Zombies need some serious work in a lot of respects. we need a lot more too, as a valid threat to players, people aint gonna shoot their guns off as care free if they are then tracked down and chased by 20 (A dream I know) zombies, not inc' players.

I take my time when entering dangerous areas, I have never been jumped by loggers, hoppers or ghosters. Lets be fair If players didnt run around like there was nothing else better to do then there would be less deaths and people doing shit like this. When The MOD hit, players were cautious about moving around, most used to crawl because of the Zombies and other players to be hidden. I do think players have lost that aspect of gaming with the SA. I suggested a while back. Have players assigned to one server upon log in. Have a timer for said players on said server if they continuously try to log in again after a certain time. Alternatively, have timers at certain loacations only, eg. Barracks and towns and high risks areas and top end kit places, that would dissuade players from mining places and surprising the bejeezus out of players. This would cut down almost instantly and make the player think about cutting and running or trying to find all the gucci kit at certain loacations.

I don't think this would work in this game, being infected would take a trmendous resource on the server. It would be nice though and common sense. I am not too sure if the infection immunity is as sound as most people think, didn't rocket consult his brother about viral infections in order to find a plausable explanation? So, wouldn't an infection infect everyone? I remember it being the reason for the Mod, but I thought we had moved on from there?

Playing in a clan does make it better, in more ways than one. go find a decent group or get your mates to buy it, no better fun than with mates you know. Stay away from towns if you want to meet people. and trust no-one, unless you can talk to them through game. It adds to the security if you can chat before you reveal your position. Welcome to the forums. A lot of these have been suggested before, Just so you know there is a search function and you will find similar minded threads with opinions on there. I always wanted to see Predatory animals in game. I hope the Animals are in soon along with the hunting system they are working on. No to the Undead kind. As far as the L4D monsters, I think a resounding NOOOOOOOO! would be in order. The limit of zeds on screen would be a major factor for this game even though more would be nice. Have fun

Zombie soccer would be an interesting game to watch. Decapitated head as a ball, and walls they could not walk through to keep them in. Hell, players could play volley ball with some meat and chuck it at eachother, Zombie in the middle style. I would pay to see that shit.

Why have this in a zombie apocalypse? besides the kit of the fallen what other benefit is there? Just aquire 6 guns and chamber 1 round in random ones. Capture player, and make them pick one while you or your psycho mate pulls the trigger. Apart from the hilarity which would ensue, Russian roulette is a bit lame for a survival game, I would not like this in game thank you. Each to their own.........

On a side note, I find the server timer a bit frustrating. Reasons are, is when my P.C. crashes I have to reset my P.C. then when I try to join a server get the timer. This happens a lot with my current ATI card. Also when I join a server without 3D view (I love the scenery) I have to log out and back into one which has it. Very frustrating having to wait just to play a game

The noise made by running haunts me, the tapping sound makes my flesh crawl. I support the OP, get rid of the tapping if there is no equipment on your body to make it. Running in my skiddies, TAP TAP TAP PANT PANT PANT EXHALE WHITE CLOUDS. see what I mean?
