I'm just greatful we hear from the devs, about the process. Yes we have been let down and we are (for the most part) grown ups, so we should be able to handle a little disapointment. -

Quick Question: I recall rocket saying Mods who try the SA testing would be allowed to post and stream videos (along with everyother 2 bit tubers / Streamers). Where are these videos? -

I have been around a while now and have wondered where all the new maps are for the Mod? there was a few times when new maps were released but lately there has been nothing! Does this mean people are not bothered with the Mod like before or are the stock of maps all released? Is anyone working on the difficult task of making maps? care to share? Do you have plans, have you started a map but given up? Where are all the new maps? Surely the SA hasn't stopped everyone from releasing new maps?

I am Shocked! After all the hype and interest of the Mod, that no-one has made a DayZ only map! I can understand the hard work and commitment and also the upcoming SA portability issue question, but I am Suprised to hear no-one has made a DayZ map specifically for the DayZ Mod. Cheers for the replies, I understand. -

I would love to see prisoners (A certain allocation of new spawns) start their game here, Perhaps an open cell door near the spawn start? It would be similar to how 28 days later started, player wakes, unsure as to why and where they are......... It would offer the RPG'ers something to get off the ground with, Imagine......... Wakes up in cell, just opened by mysterious means (Perhaps a loot spawn of a crowbar just near enough to pick up), finds loot to escape with while combating vicious zombie hoardes. Prisoner then chooses path of playing (Non scripted), live like the old ways or lead a good life via Bandit or Hero. Escaping prison located in an Isolated location (Utes or Island?) Get to mainland by any means and survive the Apocalypse! Prison guards could also play a pivotal role, do they forgive and forget or are they driven by old honours? I can see players being split via good and bad or being able to add to the community, regulators and gangs would offer players more than just zombie slaying (As exsist on many servers) Loot could be basic items unless found on bodies and remains, most hi grade stuff would be low spawned rates to simulate players taking the best stuff and leaving the Island. Rocket always said he would offer us the tools as opposed to directing gameplay, the above Prison mechanic would offer players a means to live a virtual life and express personal taste and gameplay methods. How simple would this be? build a prison complex in an isolated location and add a few spawn points. It would break the element of players going for high grade loot as soon as they spawn on Chernarus.

I have (as have many) asked for this before but I suppose intelectual property rights could be infringed upon eventually with people importing and exporting their own data / Models Hmmm... With rocket away and paid staff on the books, I wonder why not? If you have the staff there why not make a map editor? Let them concentrate on the Architecture while the others complie a map editor you already have. Can you imagine the lifespan of the product? it will be going for years after release, I would make maps till my hearts content. the community would grow exponetially and we as fans would be more powerful than the WOW crowd, I cannot see a bad thing to this idea. Yes there will be loads of really terrible maps, but there will be lots of good ones too. I only used to play games with editors as I could get my Moneys worth and prolong and game I liked. If we get updates through the year the options are endless! I would even pay a premium price for a Map Editor for DayZ (Game £20 Map Editor £40), Imagine this BIS! more revinue and only serious people would purchase it for the benefit of the community! I am willing to learn and intelligent enough to understand how to! (As are most) Come on and smell the beans, give us a Map Editor. -

How about in the middle of the Swamp, as that is in a daft location. (Next to the Sea? Really?) I would like to see it in Cherno Harbour tbh, with a few other smaller craft. -
Yes, Replace the Airfield on Utes with a Prison complex. A large wall around it with a few Blown hole in it for access. Diffrent wings for Canteen, fitness area (Outside yard) Prisoner Holding area, A Helipad and other features. (Why not have a tunnel reaching from the main land or a bridge?)

North Yorkshire, England. It is very much Like Chernaurus, everytime I am on the M62 I look out for Chopper crash sites (Never find one but usually see an Air Ambulance) -

How have they failed? Yes we have been given the run around but as far as I see n hear, its all for the best! Take a chill pill, if not, there are plenty more games out there, the SA will be new for the most part! With redsigned towns and additions a lot of it will have us feeling like we all did the first time we played it! With this complex a game we will relive it all again! -
Yes, the more variety on the map the more immersive (For me anyways) it could be. I would love a shipyard, with ships and barges which could act as potential bases.

As long as you have the tools to clean yourself up with, no worries. It can give my character more to do. We could have a shaved / un-shaved war adding to more potential fighting, Bearded gangs being kidnapped and shaved as punishment, there would be hell on!
