I have, since playing months back had a few crazy DayZ dreams. Some involved playing the game while in dream state and I mean in game, not dreaming about sitting on my computer playing it. One was while riding a bike through Electro, selling ice creams to infected people who were then cured. We all went to church together and it got blown up?!?!? Freud would have a field day! I am a wanderer of the Chernaurs infected zone. A mans home is his castle, which means I could lay siege to others! this would offer another way of playing for me. I never got into the use of tents or hoarding items so a base would be useless to me. But, it would offer more gameplay objectives. +1 for blocking off exsisting buildings -

You're missing out on so much thinking so straight, explore, look around, you will find what you want when u explore a little. Not to mention the other game types you can do. Michaelvoodoo, apocalypse taxi driver sighning out. -
A single player version would be nice for this, if I owned a server I would add custom buildings from friends and other lucky people and upload once in a while I think the SA would buckle with non instanced buildings, particularly when there's so much more to do!

I love DC, but the Reset your NASA computer after every update was and is a joke. I bought a new P.C. a while back and every single update, map install, patch update, meant I had to reset my P.C. everytime. If I had not, it would have been Willy up my arse time. The things we do for love. Edit: OP, Enjoy.

I would not be looking to keep prisoners, The loot available to feed and keep them would be too valuable to take someone as a prisoner, unless I was being paid a la Bounty hunter style. Some of your ideas would be great for non killing robbing. -
Farmville? In a zombie apocalypse? the Mods have been infected. Maybe when you have bases to speak of in game, yeah, like S.A. fans we could be left in the dark and fed shit, just like mushrooms. joke! I would love to farm stuff but not to grow stuff in game, having stuff grow rapidly would kill it for me, whereas finding areas where stuff grow would be better. Crafting would be like Minecraft. You could make anything with the basic ingredients with a benefit to health.

What you gonna do when someone disagrees with you in game? take away their free stuff? You go for it, DayZ is a great game spoiled by servers like yours, too many vehicles and loot given away, taking the challenge away too easily. Don't you like opinions? -

IMO Utes is crap, never liked it in the Mod, PVP island is all it is, was and ever shall be. With Chernaurus North of it, a new experience awaits. But, there had better be more boats to come and go. Oh yeah I'm with Fraggle, remove the airfield but have the island as a prison. -
Crafting might make use of a lot of Natural resources. I would like more wild animals over Insects though, More threats and ways of being given away. Imagine: Your running around a forest and startle the animals, say Deer, anyone close by witnessing an animal running away will know there are threats nearby. and would make players be more careful so as not to give away your position.

Sounds to me like it will resemble the movement in Warzzzz or whatever crap it is called these days. Not a fan of slowing the players down at all. I do like the choice of slower shufflers, Both fast and slow Zeds would add to the game. Slowing the player down would be bloody silly, Have you run up north? takes a while at current game speed. I did once think this way also, but once I had control of the gameplay and the way it works, I was O.K. with it -

I can picture players running up to them shouting "friendly, friendly" right before chewing their arse off! Do it, have them roam forests and such, might minimise KOS a little, as in not giving your position away too easily.
