I really want to try Lingor Island, however do believe issues need to be fixed in DayZ before mass introduction to Lingor. DayZ will never suffer If there is more choice for players and this will spread out the fan base offering less problems and more gameplay.

I suggest anyone who wants a silly argument or comment on this thread looks up the word Community. Now I don't claim to know much but (And the following is just a point from a non server admin literate person) does Lingor run on the "Hive" (Someone explain this to me) I have seen plenty of Private locked servers for DayZ (pleae explain this to me also) So If your paying for the server why can't /Or what is stopping you from running your own private server? I want to know my info is safe and not going to be misused, remember hackers can get everywhere. Regardless of all the issues in the game, I still play it because I Understand it is a Alpha, I expected problems when I purchased Arma 2 and downloaded DayZ and I like you now know it is going to be a long drawn out experiment until the game is anywhere near completed. Yes I can't see areas ( barbed wire etc) Yes i expect to be sucked into the thunderdome, But I have a healthy outlok in the fact it is just a game in Alpha If your point is you don't get to spend anytime on the Game because of hackers then stop paying and do what the rest of us do, Have a life outside of Gaming as well. I don't care what you think, You cannot stop hackers if they are dedicated enough, end product, alpha product. This is the curse of DayZ, once it gets popular over a certain point you will attract all types to it and this brings it's own issues. When I started KOS wasn't half as bad, players actually bumped into each other and explored together, they learned together. Nowadays there are so many threats they don't. This is due to the popularity of DayZ we should be (those of you who can) working together to fix issues. Rocket has said many times he want's the community to sort things out, yet I'm afraid I see very little in the way of help, majority of the things I see is bitching and biting in the forums, Pull yourselves together and stop acting like children. I didn't mean to offend anyone, and perhaps a lot of what I said is bollocks (I don't admit to know everything)

I dunno, If your hoarding a shop, your taking away a resource from the other players. And I would just not be happy if i ran into town after spawning and got shot when i was unarmed, The attacks on you would be great due to a fixed location, Did you see the last service church doo? That went down well like your shop would. Every fooker would run there to take pot shots, snipers in cover or not. You could generate the Regulators to protect you but the bandits and murderers are many, Not including the hackers, they would have a field day, In theory all they would have to do is (However they do it) drop a few crates nearby, after a while your supplies would be Tainted. Or crash a chopper into the shop. Good idea but I would suggest mobile shop, you could inform the "crowd" at last mins notice and at least offer a taxi service to your "shop"

I read somewhere there are so many A.K's in the world it's scary, Guns are as common in RL as they are in Cherno (Certain types at least) But Axe's are the dominant species (Bar hunting knife which is classed as a tool)

Only had 2 ghillies, One of them spawned me into the sea (Fooking updates) Only good for hiding. Get it on and kill camping Bandits, Farmers and Camping campers. Or use it to cover new spawns in the more notorious places.

Ah!! Downed choppers, I have found 3 in one server once, and Someone had already looted them, the only thing i found in one was a Lee Enfield, Imagine my Joy :( Then other times i have found L85's, Bizons and a range of other stuff, still looking for some N.V.G's You have a really good find, Carry on Hoarder

I have never in months of playing ever needed Antibiotics or even been affected by Temperature nor ever used a Heat patch!! Are you telling me players need these items? Seriously I have put some really stupid time into playing, longest session was 10hrs straight and I'm on it most DayZ!

Have a look at some of the other zombie mod games for DayZ, there are more than enough zombie types, but that's down to Rocket and co for implementation.

I read yesterday in here a post about the American army needing a new simulator! Perhaps some things are on the back burner? It wouldn't be the first time a company has put updates and the like on hold with an emphasis on a newer rushed product, but let's face it the better DayZ gets the more complex tinkering with it it gets. I'd sooner they get it right than a mistake release and more issues down the road. OP show some patience! I'm sure they are hard at work!

It's a game, There are elements of realism but come on I'm sure where you live you might have infected people running up and down the street but Most of us don't. Sniping in real life is very difficult, I know because I failed the course. However games have to add a little fiction in order for them to be appealing or most would be dull otherwise. Get a punch bag set up and relieve your frustration on it (a close alternative is a good sex session with your partner) 1. No, I use both only six for updating (Inc a manual beta install after Six) Then I use Commander for finding a server. (Both are good, I just use them for different things)
