I change the video settings to default when I get to a soldier glitch, switch back when I'm out of harms way. Keep swapping when you get to areas and you'll be fine (I am every time) Dogs? Bah, I want wolves and bears, I wanna be scared and with most player lifetimes what is the point of having to train dogs up every time when your first priority is Finding survival stuff? "Spawned on beach and found dog, trained dog, got shot, lost dog, start over" Did they even fix the dogs running up hills? what happens when they get onto pier, will they be limited in movement? Will they come with panniers? how can they carry stuff (Pedigree chum? Losealot prime? morphine? beans?) I have to carry another bottle of water for them, My inventory is full when kitted out! If they go into dangerous areas how can the player see how dangerous it is? (Dog cam?) Or do they just run around and come back with meat, meds and whatnot? Wait I feed it meat and I'm sure it will need healing also (Coz I will shoot yours!!) How many FPS will I lose over dogs? Hell, how many FPS will i lose with 40 zed spawns? Will they get killed in Doors? can they swim to Skalitskiwhatever Island with me? what about my car where do they sit? Is there gonna be an issue when I'm on a vehicle and racing in front? They warn you of danger? Am I incapable of doing that myself? How many dogs can you have? Imagine a litter (Or even one) of dogs running around giving your not so stealthy position away! I see a dog and I'll know the player is behind it, It's a bit of a disadvantage. Whistle system? What happens when I am with other players and someone else whistles? Don't want this to be negative but If they inform you of danger then does that mean they are effected by danger, ie Zeds and the likes. We'll just have to wait and see!! Don't mean to be funny!

Maybe a few more people joined up, I've noticed past week it is very slow, Seen a lot of new posters too.

There is was I had logged off from a previous session, due to the door opening and a hot tasty lady waiting for me. So when I Logged back in after updating blah blah blah I too was at the coast. Got shot, re-spawned and found my kit to be killed by a scaredy cat pussy hiding in the trees. This usually happens when I update. Now I'm soon gonna spend another 8 hours playing it (Sleeping is for whimps)

Your gonna get Killed, that is a fact. Buy an Mic, they are useful for all encounters. Join a group / clan. I share the frustration, I have had many encounters where i was killed for no reason, I have lost more great loot to Murderers who were so scared of me they opened fire out of fear. It's a game, You need to join a clan if you want friends.

I am still looking for some Kit, over 300 hrs play and I still haven't found a lot of items. 25 chopper crash sites and no sign of NVG's or a big 50.

I'm hoping you don't have to use them tbh, I don't understand why either. This is based on my play style as i don't need to use anything but my imagination. Rocket and co. are entitled to do as they wish, however and If things don't work out they will adjust accordingly, I for one would like more threats like wolves and bears but that is my opinion. One thing is for sure, a dog should sustain me like the other animals in game.

Out of interest where are you playing from? What servers? have you tried varying servers? Recruit, Regular, Veteran? I'm sure you could find a less Hacker server? Why let them win? If you have put so much into the game and more importantly you enjoy it, I'm sure you will return!

Can you lot calm down please? With the sniping and bitching at each other you're making the Forums worst than women working together. I play every day and have noticed from between 1 and half hr to 2 hr there are no graphical glitches (From start-up), they appear after, but it gives me enough time to go wherever and grab whatever from high grade Loot sites. when I see the glitch at an unplayable level, I exit server close game and run Crap Cleaner and log back in, Works fine for me most of the time. I have never been affected by hackers, I play Low player servers (U.K) through the daytime as I like to play the Zombie apocalypse scenario and there are less players. The game is good for me, so forgive me I cannot relate to a lot of the issues. Now I know it may not be practical for creatures of habit as they like Server X,Y,Z but there are loads of servers out there, you just have to find em With DayZ Commander (My preferred choice) and If you like playing with m8's the last thing you want is to be hacked, so via trial and error you will find a good server just don't give up. edit: The update will come out when they have tested it, It is a long and arduous process hence the time and delays, and you'll forget about it then because you will be playing the MOD you love (You wouldn't be here otherwise) Cheers and Enjoy the Mod.

Please don't encourage them!! I'd like to say I don't mind happy hackers, but hacking is hacking and ruining the Mod / Community.

I'll be honest, I find the first person view rather irritating, Kinda takes the shine of the game away, The bobbeling, limited view (Only 1 monitor at mo) I get the theory but I guess they (Hackers) are about numbers, they seem to like to transport all players on full-ish servers, and of course they do it for the laughs. I personally stick to low numbered servers and low ping ones, I play through the day, never on an evening. Never seen a hacker. Just throwing this out there, as it has been going on for a while now, Isn't there a database of which server and what time it was hacked? This could give an idea of where the most common places (servers) are and allow closer monitoring of the situation.

SERIOUSLY! got your attention? All those who got banned have you: A. Been hacked, some legitimate hacker changed your files in game? B. Changed / Modified / Altered any game files due to performance issues? C. Allowed remote access / installed non trusted software? D. Come across hacked items in game, used / taken? Even hacked in crates etc? Ridden along side a hacker in vehicle, come into close contact with? E. Non legit C.D. key? Purchased off a dubious site? F. Actually hacked to try it out? Could Battle eye pick up on this? and assume your cheating? I saw not too long ago a post showing Battle eye tests where someone does something ( Picked up hacked weapons, hacked in scripts, etc) and Battle eye checked and picked it up and banned them (Testing scenario)

I was in game today with no glitches, NWAF then Green Mountain, then a couple of hours into playing it all started up. Switched servers due to baaaad glitching and 2 ish hours of no glitching!

What server? was it a recruit one or veteran? or even regular? I find If I want to team up I use recruit, I run around with high end gear due to my camp destroying and give the gear to new players on the coast, who are willing to go to areas anew, Unless they are meeting up wih others. I have a mic, but use Keyboard sometimes when they don't have one. there is no feeling like running around with 5 or more, DayZ goes to a new level! But jump out or take a shot and You will get some in return. In the North people are too atached to their gear to ask "friendly" You'll find they shoot either way out of fear. I suppose the best way is to join a clan.
