Maps are very common in Takistan, There is very little off the map so that should help.

This is not Sniper elite with Kill shots, Or Fallout 3 with death cams, Or Mortal Kombat fatalities and blow shots. When you see a bullet hit a guy through the scope, you get just that. a little rag doll effect would be nice.

It would be better if any flying vehicle crashed and you saw it happen at random times through the server hosting time. Maybe 1 hour into the game, 4 hours another etc.

Perhaps a DJ? Giving out news and information? The Lighthouse attracting Zeds? Wouldn't that affect zed spawning issues? Its slow enough in a town with frame rates let alone the poor fucker who has to turn it on and will be holed up inside? Would be cool though to see from a distance. Turn the lighthouse into a prison, and the guys inside can decide if they want to make a run from it at night surrounded by flesh eating screamers!! Would also add to the claustrophobia of the Mod / Game.

Couldn't you just ensure players all experienced the effects of near blood loss without the actual blood loss? How are you introducing this to your server? It may catch on and is a sensible and logical addition(More so that a 50 cal rifle.

What trophy did you have in mind? A tooth, An ear? Does a bandit skin not tarnish the player enough? Churches are just that a building. No moral system needs to be invented due to the players mentality, If you want to repent and make up for past actions then simply help others instead of having Cross's and the likes. I was meeting up with a friend when I dropped behind a stone near Prigorodky to read my map, I heard steps behind me and there was a bandit He was unharmed and he was speaking over VOI (Unsure which program I do not know how to set up VOI) I unloaded some shots from my FN Fal into his body chest area. He laughed and said I should not have done that as It was not nice (Bandit = fair game). Trying to communicate with him was no good as there was no Side Chat enabled. There was however name tags. He then proceeded to shoot me with a silenced pistol (M9 Silenced?) he then told me to bandage (Very English accent) as he had only made me bleed and I was in shock. Upon bandaging myself he then spawned a medical like box. I knew from stories what his meant, So i was reluctant to look let alone take anything. I was not willing to lose my gear because I didn't play the hacker game and cheat using spawned in items no matter the temptation. I gave the impression I was looking into the box and then proceeded to run around the box within a 10 meter area. As i noticed the player looking away I then Ran for it, I couldn't kill the player so I had to run. He then shot me with a high powered rifle he did not have on his immediate body (Bandit skins and Backpacks sometimes do not show?!?) I was dead and then I just re-spawned. I noticed a few other bans in this Server for hacking (Global bans) and People were being killed left, right and center, I can only assume the other players were having the same issue. The players name was Walter White On server U.K 23 "Hunting grounds" and this was around 4.20 -4.30 PM ,18/9/12 U.K TIME My in game name was michaelvoodoo25 and My friends name was Jayeez (It was his first time in game and was trying to find him and show him the ropes through personal mobile phone text messages due to not having ability to chat in game) On a side note I have also checked the forum members list and there are 2 names for the hacker / scripter but they were deffinately English and not American, I do not make this accusation lightly either I do however feel this player caused an offence by simply spawning the Box.

I did a search for the Server and found a site for it but I could not contact them as I was not willing to sign up with non secure accounts and all that Jazz.

Have you tried a recruit server? and maybey you shoul dhave a go at Arma 2 just to get the basic controls in order. Other than that I could only recommend you master crawl and sneaking when around the Living Infected.

Private hives are all over the place, just open up your server finder and put private in the filter box!! On a side note I was Hacked yesterday also (Reported it too) The player spawned a gear box into the game and then shot me as I would not take anything from it. This was only the 3rd time i was affected by a scripter / Hacker The psychology of these individuals astounds me. I mean how stupid and thick do you have to be to hack something in game in front of you when nametags are on? What I would like to know is with the info (Name, Date, Time, Location) what can admins actually do about these incidents? I believe it was an official Hive too, the first time I believe I have played on one in perhaps months. Aww well It was a great time arming up again,

Some of these ideas are good, But a plane? Kinda disfigures the original idea of Dayz. The community has to try all it can i suppose for a better player experience but what's the point? no zeds threat and OP vehicles and weapons it may just as well be another seperate Arma 2 mod.
