There are some decent servers out there for no PVP, some of you may not like it but I do and there's nothing like bumping into strangers and having a great game together. It makes the survivor aspect great and you will find a more mischievous kind of bandit, one that actually sticks you up as apposed to shoot you dead, there are less murders and lets face it, the more you kill the less fun you'll have. Also the night time play together is outstanding when in a good sized team, the atmosphere is amazing. You can't garuantee all the rules will be adheared to, but look at all the anti scripting measures and rules out there now, they were designed with a lot of different play in mind. Biggest hurdle is for admin to actually have the time to play and monitor the length of server play time, something I admire RP and others for. Some of them will monitor allowing others to have fun and ask for nothing in return. Hats off to you. Quit your Jibba Jabba. And let me play in peace.

Yeah that's a bit shit. I like no pvp servers, gives you a zombie apocalypse feel without other players slotting you. I find working as a team comes more naturally. I have never been a stickler for the rules, if rules were not meant to be broken then we wouldn't have any new maps or private servers. These have helped the community, contributed to a better player experience, good yah?

First one, though to get a better idea, you'll need to run a few with different applications and use it to its potential. I have an older system (dual core chip) it runs anything I throw at it inc DayZ. Nice gpu.

It's a VOIP program, But free!! Just wondered if any of you had come across it and used it? Perhaps not, I'm gonna trial it with my m8s and feed back.

It's not a compromise, Buy it now and be prepared to pay for the standalone when it comes out. You will miss out on so much if you wait till then. Arma 2 is a great game as stated and there is a bigger community working at it all the time.

I have not played any of the games most RPG players have so I have limited understanding of many of the concepts, please bare with me. I always thought Bartering would be one of the first things in an Apocalypse, After of course building a safe area? Groups of like minde people will, Barter, But finding a like minded currency may differ from Area to area, Resources willing. So I kinda get the gist but, Wouldn't the Concept be when you leave your server to explore, you would have to use a different map? connecting to another map on the same Hive? (as you would have to save your player info) Also when you make communities, How would you get over the Zed spawning? In your relative area there would be triggers when players approach, so wouldn't some resources dictate a steady requirement of say, ammo? I love the idea of Player Buildings, being able to build a "batcave" would be ultimate. Baggsy I'm a Bounty Hunter, lone rogue of course.

Potenial on this map is endless, Go and play Arma 2 with vhis map and you'll see for yourself. Many people wanted an urban environment to play in, Off you go!!! Pick a building and make a base, Defend it. Play as a medic, Find your way around this baby. Bandit Kills will go through the roof -1,000,000 humanity. Even race up and down the highways. Hold and control the Airfield.
