I thought vehicles outside of Day Z have been blacklisted by battleye and aren't possible to spawn anymore for cheaters?

Epic way to get revenge... Or set a trap for unsuspecting players coming to get free loot. xD

It is possible to do it yourself using their FTP I'd say, but if you're not very aware of what you're doing I'd advice you to wait till they just update it for you, I'm guessing they will before tomorrow anywayz.

That's been possible for a long long time, most cheaters however don't run those scripts and there are ways to defend against it as a server admin, just not a lot of ways. It's taking a good chunk of my time to try keep hackers at bay form the server, it's a losing battle...

Most servers aren't updated yet, including my own. Look for the beta patch your on in the filter to try find a server that is updated.

No, all vehicles and tents should still be where they were when I shut down the server. You should find them where you left them next time you log in, unless someone stole them. ;P

When you launch the game trough steam it'll adjust the cd-key in your registry.

I wondered about this myself and ended up trying it last night. Bought Arma II OA on a 2nd account and loaded it trough steam. Then shut down the game again and loaded it trough six launcher. I spawned in on a completely new character. When I switched back to my main account, I booted the game again on steam, shut down, boot on SIx Launcher. And I was back on my old geared character. So yes, for me that worked perfectly. Keep in mind you have to launch the game trough steam once though to change the CD-key or it wont work. :P

Is it really that common? I only ever found one. @_@

I can answer the NL 22 issue for you since I'm the server admin. I was forced to shut it down last night due to some security issues we were having (some hackers killing players randomly and trying to spawn in tanks and shit). And since I'm at work right now I don't exactly have the time to fix the issues. With some luck NL 22 will be up again later today, somewhere in the evening, though I may have to reboot it quite a few times this evening to test small adjustments.

I'm at 3 atm, and highest I've had was 11. I'm no bandit though, I try to be friendly towards people, until they point a gun at me. ;x

Not heard of this problem before, but from what you're describing I'd fault it to an external program. You got any firewall type software running in the background?

Are you sure you're actually switching servers? Or are you rejoining the same server again? There is a bug that will make you go unconcious everytime you log in onto the same server. It should fix itself when you switch server or when the server restart though.

Anyone else experiencing a drop in performance since yesterdays updates? I got like half the FPS now that I did before the update, and I double checked most of my settings and they all seem to just be fine. A friend of mine said he's also noticing a drop in FPS and random short freezes while playing on top of that. Seems odd we'd both notice this just after the updates, seems related to me...

I like this, I do agree that the end game isn't as fun as the gathering/scavenging is. A very hardcore area with top gear items that can't be found anywhere else would be quite nice.

Seen this problem pop up a few times. Get someone to epi you, if you got no friends that can help you ask one of the medical groups. ;P

Mya I know where you're coming from. I haven't had much luck with the bugs myself, I haven't died to a player in 2 weeks, but died to bugs 3 times over that time. It's annoying but like you said, it is Alpha, I've just accepted the fact that it happens, a lot, and that I'm unlucky. xD EDIT: You can pitch a tent by crouching and trying to place it. Then move forward a tiny bit and place again, rince repeat till it works.

Kinda depends on the game, but in the case of ARMA 2 it's a hexediter to use to adjust the files of the game that are currently loaded in the computers RAM. That's the short explenation. ;P

Maybe someone torched a few vehicles or spammed camp fires in the forest.
