I'm curious as to where all these hackers are... Are most of them on the US server perhaps? I mean, me and my group have only encountered a few hacked vehicles and items, but nothing major really. The only major thing I've seem was the Battle Camp thing in NW airfield... That was quite dodgy.

12 was my highest, I pretty much only shoot people who will shoot me though.

After about 30 minutes of "can't update " messages last night my game did update on its own. It's seemed to just have to do with it not being able to handle the huge amount of clients updating to me...

Ofcourse, ppl on different servers can't loot your corpse...

You've probably got a Steam version I take it. Launch the game (Arma 2 OA) through Steam once. After that try again using sixlauncher. The cd-key isn't in your registry yet cause you never launched the game through Steam.

Likely a hacker who didn't like your approach to telling you he's friendly.

All the people above are either speaking without knowing what they're talking about or simply lieing. Battleye bans are on CD-KEY, meaning that if you buy a new copy of Arma 2 OA, you will get a new CD-KEY and therefor be able to play again. IP bans only happen on the HIVE on rare occasions and happen only manually by DayZ staff. You'd not be banned from ARMA 2 server but from all DayZ servers. If that were to happen to you then buying a new CD-KEY wouldn't help. I hear however that Battleye is now also tracing abuse using IP's rather then just CD-KEY's, meaning this could change in a near future, so if you get yourself banned again, there is a fair chance you can't just buy a new CD-KEY. @ all the posters above me. I get you guys don't like seeing hackers in the game but don't act like you've never done something stupid to get yourself banned from a game or server. Or got yourself thrown out of a class as a kid for misbehaving, it's the same thing. Everyone deserves a 2nd chance. Imo you're no better selling bullshit to the guy then any of the hackers in game.

You claim you're a game developer and you don't understand that the issue with hacker/cheaters is not with DayZ developers but with Arma2/Battleye developers..? Shit like this belongs on their forums.

Kick's are only allowed for very few reasons, none of them would apply to you.

Script injection of someone who knows how to cover their tracks would be my guess... I´ve seen someone similar in my logs once, though it was a lot less text.

Once its done I am interested, atm though it's not as good as other maps. But get that place your own markers feature working and make it secure and I'm in. :P

Join a less populated server. I think you're getting stuck due to desync's with the HIVE, it can take ages to enter crowded servers.

You launching it trhough steam by any chance?

Go on the Control Panel, and go to update, then update your server to the latest version.

Meh, alternatively an admin could just take down the server... It wouldn't be against regulations to do that, but whats the point? It's officially not against regulations but that doesn't mean it should be allowed...

HAppen to someone in my group yesterday evening as well. Bit dodgy. It seems to happen sometimes if you get hit by a zombie during desync's.

IT's kinda funny, when I got my server there were like 350 servers, that was about a month ago. Last time a checked, last week, there were almost 2000 servers. Games gotten popular man. ;P
