Yep, that's how I play now. Shame there's only a handful of animals you can hunt though. Beach or lake fishing would be cool! Maybe this'll change in the future..

lol I realise that you get eat animals for ~900 blood a piece, but the aforementioned scenario had me with just over 1k blood, broken legs and chronic, uncontrollable sleeping habits. This happened a while ago too, I just thought I'd through the question out there. It's really quite pathetic that you follow me around this forum trolling my threads. It does shows your age though. A tent?! haha, unlucky. Last night I was trying to kill a bandit who was stalking me. I saw him stop to look around next to a barn that had a gas cylinder next to it. I lobed a grenade and the whole thing went up.. and I'm talking a HUGH explosion! the barn was razed to the ground and then seconds after, my character's legs shattered. I hit the floor and instantly died.. I put it down as death by viewing an awesome explosion (note, i was about 50-60 feet away). (it was the same as the death you get from proning next to a tree) Good by 15 day old character, it was fun!

How do I do this? I've tried mashing my keyboard.. nada.. Is it possible? I see comments and youtube vids referencing it, but don't know how to actually do it. Any pointers is appreciated. Burro

I've only noticed this recently, but yes, it rapes the eye sockets of my 60 Mbps internet connection.. <_<

I know this is alpha. I know this is a "known" issue. I know there are ways to prevent this. That said, I still find it frustrating having a primary rifle with 5 mags, and only 12 slots in my bag, and no way of placing things on the floor or discarding others, and so putting my rifle in my bag puts all my ammo in there too.. and if there's not enough space, my bag eats my extra mags.. . Why does it have to fill my bag with my ammo anyway? Why can't I simply control my inventory. We're not dealing with hundreds of items here, we're talking about 30 items or so.. Please Rocket, just remove the code that auto moves ammo.

Hi all, I'm curious how some servers are sheer pitch black and others are a little less. Are there different settings the server admins can apply? Sometimes adjusting brightness helps other times I just run around the woods with my military torch :D

This sounds spot on to me. I understand why server admins would do that, but at the same time the Arma 2 engine was never built to have the player being in the dark without a flashlight or NVG's (rocket has even said this). Therefore, I think a balance should be met, no?

nah, there's more to it than that. I've been on multiple servers with clear skies and they've been dark and light. I'm sure its a setting.

No idea, as mentioned in my original post, it wasn't my clip. I also started out by saying "Saw this video this morning..". I assume it was Fraps though. Don't hijack this thread mate. If you have beef with another player/admin/server, take it to the dev team. We can't help unfortunately.

That's cool to hear, thanks. nay, I'm just trying to put my gun in my bag only, but currently it 'forces' all my ammo in there too, even if there's not enough room. If there isn't, it'll eat the extra. Not impatient buddy. I'm able to voice my opinion within this "open forum". I didn't eff and blind, I said I was frustrated, and then listed why. (and it's spelled "crybabies".. it's plural)

Does anyone know where there are good areas to hunt animals (sheep, goats, cows etc)?? I seem to only ever find rabbits.. <_<

Most of what you've said has been said a fair few times on these forums. I've even posted a few of them myself. That said, they're all cool ideas. hopefully Rocket will implement something like this in the future.
