The hypocrisy is that most DayZ clans will gladly accept hackers, in fact they welcome them, but not players under eighteen. My advice is to simply play with your friends.

Welcome to HackZ.

Hackers are retarded..
Thorne (DayZ) replied to Jesters (DayZ)'s topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
NIce to see forum vets are finally acknowledging there is a hacking problem after months of denying it. -
Hackers, seriously, whats the fucking point?
Thorne (DayZ) replied to darklynx's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Bear in mind: Most forum veterans here deny a hacking problem exists. Why? Probably because most of them have a vested interest in rocket ignoring the problem. -
So many hackers, the mind boggles - any legit players left?
Thorne (DayZ) replied to TheMachine's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
That doesn't matter. Even if the admin kicks the hacker after the script-kill, you're still dead and have to re-start. -
script restriction issue..really ?..is there? WHAT !!??
Thorne (DayZ) replied to Hetstaine's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Perhaps Hetstaine might be blind or just never has been to a forum before. -
First encounter with a hacker
Thorne (DayZ) replied to Zordon (DayZ)'s topic in New Player Discussion
You just described a generic hacker encounter that most of us experience every day. Prepare to experience this scenario again, a hundred more times, in the near future. -
Scripters/hackers becoming more common?
Thorne (DayZ) replied to Biito's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
What happened to all the forum "veterans" who kept claiming the giant escalation in hacking was untrue? I guess now people can no longer deny it. -
Screw the hacking! Finally dogs!
Thorne (DayZ) replied to Novalis's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
And the standalone game will also be "alpha." So what? -
Someone going to have to explain this one to me
Thorne (DayZ) replied to Buffjesus's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Not an unusual sight considering hacking occurs every minute on every server in this game. -
Lack of players heading up North Nowadays?
Thorne (DayZ) replied to shinii's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
random51 is correct. With the current hacking extravaganza in DayZ, it is almost pointless for most players to spend hours trekking northward. Also, hackers are endlessly duping tons of weapons and items that can be found in many tents near spawn cities. Everyone is now just camping the coast. -
Returning to game- Update Question
Thorne (DayZ) replied to Suicide King's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Frankly, you picked a very bad time to "return to the game." This is the zenith of "the hacking phenomenon" in DayZ with almost every server experiencing mass teleporting and mass script-kills. You should wait another month and then come back to the game after the next BattleEye update is released. -
how well concealed is a ghillie player in heavy forest?
Thorne (DayZ) replied to Ozelot (DayZ)'s topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Since As a hacker can find you instantly regardless if you are wearing a ghillie suit, I'm not sure if this question really matters. -
Hacking required to survive in DayZ?
Thorne (DayZ) replied to Sym's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Correct... Welcome to the "new" DayZ. Nope. You can go download hacks for DayZ right now. No sense in waiting. :P -
Died after a long time..
Thorne (DayZ) replied to Jimmy McNulty's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
My friend survived two weeks without dying only to be teleported by a hacker and killed. But, yeah, a favorite tactic among hackers is to spawn infinite numbers of barb wire and lay it all over the cities. -
The hackers can use artillery strikes? I haven't encountered that one... yet. Everything else, I've encountered though. Sad but true, as evidenced by the DayZ forums. I think many forum posters here are hackers themselves and they are intent on exploiting the current bugginess of the game. Frankly, I haven't seen a player community this selfish, idiotic, and downright repugnant since Darkfall Online.
-
Just ask a hacker to spawn you some.
-
Doubtful that its loot cycling. It might be just regular hacking. A hacker comes along and can spawn or dupe items. You'll find many such piles in their wake. The amount of weapons in this game has skyrocketed due to script kiddies spawning them and server admins being powerless to stop them.

Hacking, Hacking, Hacking, Hacking, Hacking...
Thorne (DayZ) replied to Gumpnstein's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
It's bizarre that no one is wondering what caused the dramatic upswing in hacking during the past two weeks. There wasn't this level of hacking in DayZ for months before and then suddenly it skyrocketed. Why did this upswing occur only in the past two weeks? A new hacker client must have been released or something similar? -
As rocket himself says, hacking in DayZ isn't a bug, it's a feature. There is hacking occurring every hour on every server and, as many posters will tell you, it's how DayZ is *meant* to be played. Without the rampant mass-teleporting, item duping, and script-killing, DayZ would be just another mod. If you don't like being hacked on every server, then perhaps you should play a different game. As for the rest of us, we think the current hacker-infested DayZ environment rocks. Right, forum posters?!

Can't Play - Afraid of Hackers
Thorne (DayZ) replied to bjason1's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Lies. There is no such thing as a rampant hacking problem in DayZ, as so many forum posters will tell you. -
In other words, just your average DayZ player.
-
My reasons for taking a break from DayZ, potentially leaving.
Thorne (DayZ) replied to survivor_40's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I didn't realize rampant hacking was an integral part of a sandbox game. Do you consider item duping to be a form of "making your own content"? -
Why are you complaining?
Thorne (DayZ) replied to tomv8 (DayZ)'s topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Quit bitching. -
Can't Play - Afraid of Hackers
Thorne (DayZ) replied to bjason1's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
The hacking is out of control in this game. The weird part is it has seen an exponential growth during the past two weeks. Due to what? Popularity of the game? Widespread distribution of a hack client? Something changed during the past few weeks that has made hacking go from a minor nuisance to a major obstacle to enjoying the game.
