Just an idea on this. Since there is allot of loot flying around and burried in the ground. Maybe let us spawn with a map and gps so we can see where we are on the map? Yes this would be more unrealistic for now, but it would greatly speed up the localisation of these bugs and allow a quicker fix. Screenshots of the house and surroundings are still to be speculated about for the where abouts. Also its a pretty simple thing to add and remove.

OK lets help you guys out. Since I had the same problem. For the "Confirmation of Changes " -- "Connection closed" message. My exact steps for the fix. 1) Try some servers to force the error a few times (2-3 times). 2) Go back to main menu. 3) Click "Change Server". 4) Try some more servers. 5) Still not working? Repeat and usually after having to press "Change Server" twice or so I can get into servers. Remember though that this might have to be repeated after every game launch. Also this might not be a fix for you, just thought i'd share it since this seems to work for me at least. This is the only thing that works for me and eventually I can join servers again. I have no clue about the origins of this so don't ask. Please do post your experience with this and if it worked for you or not. -Memphista

It's really easy to find where to appeal if you search 1 minute. Would be allot faster then typing your issue here as this is a server ban and there is nothing that can be done for you here. This post is for whoever thinks they have been banned by BattlEye for a reason that would not involve breaking the rules. First of all I would like to make it clear what types of bans there are: - Database Ban (issued by DayZ) - Server Ban (issued by server owner) - Global Ban (issued by BattlEye) The DayZ staff does not issue the BE global bans and therefore are unable to be of assistance with unbanning you. Database Ban: You can appeal a Database ban here Server Ban: Most servers are run by Clans with specific forums where you can appeal to bans. To find out where to go the name of the server usually holds the clan name and from there you could easily search for their forums to sumbit your appeal there. The final decision if you are welcome on their server once again is up to them. Do note some clans have more then just one server and might ban you from all their servers. Now.. Global Ban a.k.a. BattlEye Ban Appealing to a BE ban is pretty easy to be very honest. Exact quote from the BE website: If you are globally banned, please include your exact (!) global ban ID in your support request. The ID is shown in your global ban message ("Global Ban #ID"). Without it we won't be able to process your request. Otherwise your individual case will be carefully investigated. Please also note the following before sending in your request: No one is banned for using non-hack programs (like Fraps, overlays, etc.), picking up or using hacked in-game items, weapons or vehicles, being on a server at the same time as a cheater, or other passive non-cheating activity.It doesn't matter if you only cheated on your own private server. Cheating on BE-enabled servers is forbidden, period.A shared or stolen cd-key is no excuse. It's your own responsibility to ensure that no one else has access to it.No details about your ban (including evidence) will be revealed. Hackers would love to have access to this information.If you cheated you will have to live with the consequences. Global bans are permanent and no exceptions will be made.Questions regarding how exactly to get unbanned will not be answered. No support will be given on how to buy a new game or change your cd-key. Hey guys, Whenever I am playing dayz I feel that sometimes I am missing some stuff in the game. Therefore I thought it might be worth going over some ideas in here to see what other people think of the ideas. Wildlife: I feel the diversity in wildlife is not what it could be. Sure we have pigs,cows, sheep/goats, chicken and rabbits but that's really all there is. Being realistic and all we should add deers/stags and bears atleast. Some others that might be viable would be the following. - Wolves (Maybe even in packs) - Bees (with nests to gather honey from) - Cats (bobcat, tiger, cougar) - Foxes Putin riding a bear (awesome.. but no:p) And this one at one of the fresh water pools Another thing I think should be in dayz is the ability to create teams/party's. Think about right clicking someone's names in the hud and clicking give transfusion, morphine, painkillers, antibiotics. You would still have to be in normal range though. Some other things that would be possible ,although I don't agree with them 100%, they still have their advantages ofcourse and would maybe push more people to go team up some more. - Team visible on map for easy randevouz. - Team members would see eachothers name above their head when in sight to prevent teamkills. (Standalone idea) One thing I extremely hate in dayz right now is people with heli's flying around all day looking for camps. so densely forested area's could maybe be closed by the leaves up top so arial scouting would not be so extremely effective. Another plus about this would be that you create another habitat for combat, since these areas would also have allot less light so would be naturally darker and a wider selection of trees.

Hey all, I was thinking about the in-game tents that we can find. In the dayz survivor video a tent camp is shown with 2 different tents. Link is on the dayzmod homepage! My idea at this time obviously is that there are 2 different tents, the standard one we have now and a (more rare) bigger one that can be found. Since there is a second tent in the video there must be a designed one out there that can be used for this. The standard tents we have now have 10 weapon/tool slots, 50 item slots and 8 bag slots. (correct me if I'm wrong though). The bigger one i was thinking could have 15 weapon/tool slots, 75 item slots and 12 bag slots. and a different look ofcourse. Also on a side note I would love to see how many slots there are still available. Like a bagpack shows u how much room u still have left. Maybe an interface like the player inventory interface of some sort would come in handy? Let me know what everyone thinks about this. I myself have overheard allot of players who would like to see what still can be stored (for tents aswell as vehicles). Thanks for reading, Memphista
