Yeah just got wasted by a hacker. Shot me through a wall then blew up the building I was in without it exploding. Friend shot him with a full mag and the guy just danced around in front of him to show off he was invincible. (shrug) It sucks but I wont mind starting over again, that's half the fun. 30 days of survival was fun, wish it would have ended to a legit player though. I don't know if there is a legit way these guys could have pulled this off. We had night vision and thermal and saw no one, then all of a sudden they were on us and shooting and walls were collapsing.

No offense, but if you used them for the one reason, I could only assume you would have eventually used them for another. Had you not been caught, who's to tell how far you would have taken it? That's all speculation though..... The thing that gets me...... The game is in it's alpha stages... it's a public test to better the game it will eventually be. You have to accept that at any moment, you might lose everything, no matter how long you have been alive, or how badass your PC is, or how many kills you have. I almost wish there was a huge flash screen when you loaded in that said just that. "You are playing an alpha test of a game that will eventually come out. You may lose your shit at any moment." Hopefully you did learn your lesson, I wish more scripters would, as I have already run into half a dozen since I started playing. Also, I think if you go back to where you entered the water you can find your gear....

Yup. Respawned aiming at me with a silenced rifle shot me twice, died, then respawned in again and killed people that he should not have been able to see.

Funny. I know how you feel. The other day, two friends and I were out looking for downed choppers. We started to take some inaccurate fire, so so we split up and set out to surround the two guys stalking us. We lay out the plan, get in position.. and just when we are about to have the bandits cornered.. One of my friends runs out into the open, and starts spamming fire at them with his DMR. We lose them as they run into the bushes. Our ambush was foiled, but we try to salvage it. We get a better position before they flank us. AGAIN, our guy alerts them to our position. One dives for cover, and the other keeps running. I take out the prone guy with an m24 shot to the eye, but the other guy is running around like mad. It took around 20 shots to kill him. Finally, he stopped moving so he could aim at me, I put a round in his arm, then his chest, and then my buddy tags him in the head. By the time he died, he had been shot twice by my m24, six times from my buddies ar15 ( I forget what one exactly) and twice by the other guys DMR. What would have been a simple 2-3 shot bandit assassination turned into a 30 minute ordeal of moving around and then spam firing at moving targets. Still, it was pretty funny.

I started off with the idea that I would spare people who didn't shoot at me, and maybe help them. Having not seen a single one of those people, I now shoot on sight. I'll admit, my first 2 murders, I could have let the guys go. But there were three of them, and one of me. So they got sniped before they could find me. I like the idea of just sneaking away from people, and leaving them be. Sometimes I do it just to see if I am sneaky enough to pull it off. But if they are actively looking for me or my team. I'll start shooting as soon as I think I can get away with it. I guess I do it, as preemptive self defense....

Found an m24 yesterday. I know it's nothing special to most, but it was a nice upgrade from my CZ 550 after finding no other guns for days on end. Really helpful as I seem to have pulled sniper duty for my group when they sneak in to loot areas.

I got 2 headshots in a row at 800+ meters. Wasn't too bad when I had it. Then again I have yet to try the "better" rifles.
