WHAT IF: Region's Zombie Spawn was linked to Humanity?

DOes actually sound like a good idea. I think for overall server load and game stability the zeds will most likely have to spawn near players, or else we would have lag and zombies everywhere taking up space when not needed. The overall idea is great though, and I think it should be looked into as well. -
I don't see this happening just because of all the effort involved. Rockets already said that the rise in popularity of the game has actually just fucked them in terms of moving foward. The best chance they are gona have is to get a very very stable beta ready real soon or get a company to fund them for stand alone, which there are already other MMORPG Zombie games (War Z rip off of DayZ) That will be out in a matter of months in a stand alone. What it really comes down to is that with only Rocket doing the active programing for the game we're screwed.

SO I was playing and got killed by a Ghoster/Hacker don't know which but caught the whole thing recorded for later. Walked from Cherno all the way up the coast to Berizeno and climb a deerstand. Get teleported to Thunderdome? and it says to fight to the death and I see other players running around. I moined game imediately and closed down (I don't ever do this but did because I don't wana loose shit or even be near these damn hackers. Now get stuck at loading or waiting for char load everytime look for game regardless of server. Server with issue Us 70 hosted by bush wookies

Agree with the just shut up please. I have no problem loosing things. I told my friends after gewting Ghost killed it's whatever I can get it back, even though I was full loaded. The point is I did not want to loose my newly aguired ghilee suit and 1866 to hackers or scripter that's bullshit. I now have to start in kamenka when my friends and me where in NE area and I had already walked all the way back...It's shitty

Ya I died and my game is no longer working as well. Fucking great I found a ghille suit right away and lost it to fuckjing hackers.

u have to move around some vhicles it only shows up when u look at a certain spot.

I would like to hear better sound effects overall and much better sound effects for player and zombie interactions. Most of all there needs to be dedicated sounds for things like the random fences that you always hear opening should only be heard when a player or zombie actually opens or closes a fence. All these random sound effects like the fences and barrel noises when near factories are wasted as just blank noise and need to be incorporated in a way to when a zombie or player gets near a barrel you hear the thump, or when a player opens a fence we hear it squeak in the distance not just whenever. Games pretty good overall at the moment but subtle tweaks like noise use and interaction can improve the overall game and the pvp experince!

Ya they need to revamp the whole walk sound system. To you it sounds lound but sometimes you can't hear someone sneaking right up on you.

Loive that idea as well, to be honest for the longest time I thought the birds taking off was distance gunfire just because it is so random. I would love to see that as well be something driven by interaction.

Love the game one problem I see, minus of course physics defying zombies, is the complete lack of structures with the exceptions of the city areas. Rocket, if you are reading this, while you fix the zombie ai issue and other problems you should get a side team working on structure and map layout and see if you guys can rig anything up from Arma IIs limited structure groups. If you need any help, I'm in college for Programming and Analysis and have some basic experience with Unreal and other game engines and would love to get in on the action, this mod is a whole game in its own and I feel that the beta will be an even bigger hit one the main issues are fixed. Keep up the great work Team DayZ and don't go crazy!

Yeah, happens alot to me even when slow prone walking and through buildings and objects. Seems to me the yellow cab caped ones do it most.

Yah the graphic carny tents and loading screen from hell seem to be the only real issues with latest patch. That and the damn yellow cap zombies aggro rate.
