Exactly. The only hospitals on this map are really Berezino, elektro and cherno. Gotta come into towns sometimes even with good gear. Didnt know I had to sit in the woods by myself because I have an AS50 and he doesnt. Its ok though, I WILL always kill people who exploit, if they only have a fn flashlight, run, don't box yourself and disconnect because your retarded, if you do, take it like u should and die.

I find im the same way killing only when I need something. However today I killed a player for his pack because I had all the other gear I needed and I noticed he had the pack I wanted. It was a quick death from 900+ meters so he didnt feel a thing :D

I agree something should always be done about hackers, but I have put a ridiculous amount of hours into this game and have only seen 2 hackers

I'll keep this short because it was halarious.. I've come from Berezino with a DMR to Elektro and get in position to do some counter-sniping. My plan was to kill the bandit snipers who were killing the "defenceless" players in Elektro. However.. it was not to be. In the corner of my eye I catch something moving out of view, I reposition and see a player with a hatchet zig zagging towards me like a bat out of hell. I aim but the player is so close its hard to be accurate, I fire hitting the player with my DMR but he doesn't go down and keeps coming. The player is bleeding but is within range for a strike so I get up and begin to run away I say over direct chat " Stop chasing me ", the player replies " You shot me, your going to die!", I say, "You're going to bleed out first!". The player keeps pursuing, I tell the player I can kill him anytime I want, he says "I've seen your aim, not gonna happen" I spin with the 1911 in my hand and fire 3 quick rapid shots all hitting their mark. The player drops like a sack of potatoe and I sing "nah nah nah nah, nah nah nah nah, hey hey hey, goodbye"

Ghillie suit worked fine for me in 1.7.2.3, I put it on and didnt lose anything and it saves my character without a problem, but thats my personal experience.

I think a 30 second disconnect timer, if you move it cancels makes sense. As well, I think 2-3 minute between rejoining the same server is reasonable. There is no reason why you should need to connect to the same server more than once in a 5 minute period. Otherwise you are just exploiting/hopping in that case your the problem in the first place.

If it doesnt save your character does this mean I will be at my last save point permanently :) if so thats not such a bad thing.

Zombies if looking at you will spot you, I can crawl by one at 4 meters if hes got his back to me. If hes looking at me he will see me, makes sense to me.

I fixed issue based on previous suggestions. Roll back Arma 2 Beta patch update did the fix, it now works with 1.7.2.3

Issue I am having "Waiting for Host" I have the latest Arma 2 Beta patch and I installed v1.7.2.3, now I get this error. Anyone know a fix/is this common? I cannot play the game anymore.

30 seconds would fix all this issue as someone mentioned, if you slightly move it cancels the disconnect, simple, easy and very effective.

I know its removed from most servers, is there a way to view it though after you die or who you've killed. It has prevented me on numerous occasions from taking down hackers names and or dc'ers to report them. BTW, I will be using FRAPS during any gun fight I find myself in because of all the cheaters in this game. Hope to get a lot of people banned.

FIX THIS ISSUE :@ I just shot at a player in Stary he disconnected, reconnected 30 seconds later and killed me. I spent all day looting had EVERYTHING because I found a dead player who had range finder, NVG, M9 with 5 SD mags, I had FN FAL from heli, and a coyote pack. I had everything you could want and this ***** CHEATED me out of it. This is MORE IMPORTANT TO fix then ADDING A FN CROWBAR. Fully agree with the timer suggestion, would be a simple fix and an effective one, any movement and it stops it, would prevent all these people from cheating

Hey guys, wondering how many other legit players have come across this problem? I spot two guys with no weapons, in this case "RS Grimes" they salute, say friendly etc, I assist them help them out with medical supplies, lead them to a weapon and the guy TRY's to kill me. I blow his head off and his friend runs away with his tail between his legs. This has happened on numerous occasions. I have try'd to play the nice guy numerous times by sparing people that don't have weapons and assisting them and it always bites me in the ass. I have come to realize a few things. People are NICE when the odds aren't in their favour, otherwise 99.99% of the time they will stab you in the back any chance they get * Have had numerous people come at me with just a hatchet after helping them * This is not a thread to hear bitching or complaining, just to point out and ask if anyone else is experiencing this. Btw... My personal policy has now become SHOOT EVERYONE if your not on my friends list. If you are within 50 feet of me, armed or not I will kill for sport and fun at this point, why? Because I guarantee if that "survivor" with no weapon had even a hatchet he would make an attempt on my life. I am done being the nice guy to players. I have a quick one. I was on a roof in Cherno, saw a guy getting eaten by a group of zombies, directed him to me and saved his life, gave him blood, told him I would help him get a weapon, he try'd to kill me with an Axe so I put a bullet in his brain. His name was "Saburo", not even 2 mins later another idiot try's the same thing. He hits me but I get a shot off and kill him, then as I try to bandage I fall of the roof and die. Lesson learned, don't help anyone.
