    Survival guide

yeah, some aspects of the game don't make as much sense as others. I like the idea of being an average person just trying to survive. I suppose we could just pretend we were all master mechanics in our previous lives?

    Anarchist's Cookbook

Similar to my survival guide idea, I would like to see another toolbelt survival item added called the Anarchist's cookbook. The cookbook would allow the creation of a variety of homemade weapons at a campfire using common materials. Some of these ideas may have been suggested before so I'm sorry if I missed them. -improvised grenade - turn a smoke grenade into an explosive grenade by combining it with a tin can and nails or rocks or some other common small projectile. -Dinner Bell - combine a smoke grenade with a tin can and a flare (the flare is broken down into the burning compound before being placed in the can) to create a loud, bright flash that attracts zombies from much further away than a standard smoke grenade. as an added bonus but maybe overkill, it could act as a makeshift flashbang that temporarily blinds and deafens players. -Welcoming Gift - a full jerry can, a couple makarov clips, a flare, and some wire make the perfect placeable trap for welcoming back the recently deceased. -Noise Maker - a bunch of tin cans and some wire make a nice simple noise trap for the unwary. -Farewell Gift - a HE grenade and a bit of wire in the backpack would be a fond farewell to that bandit that just shot you in the back. On this one, I play an audio cue as soon as the body is looted and give the bandit 3-5 seconds to run away. personally I would like this to wipe the dead player's inventory if not remove the body entirely but that is optional. Also, a variant could be made using the Dinner Bell. There are many other things that could be added to the list but these are all I'm putting forth for now. The potential for mass abuse could make this a bad idea (one person could make an entire city inaccessible in about an hour) but it sounds like a lot of fun to me. If implemented should be very rare.

    Survival guide

I would like to see a new toolbelt survival item called a survival guide. I have a few ideas what it could be used for and, although some of these ideas may have been stated before, others may not have. The survival guide would allow the creation of a few items at a campfire along with increased gathering potential. - fur Camo - made from bits of fur collected from various wild animals, this camo would not blend with as large a variety of vegetation as a ghillie suit but would provide medium level camouflage in addition to reduced/removed body heat loss from rain. It would also be cool to look like a mountain man and I demand a beard to match. It may be overkill but the camo could also make you less visible to zombies as you would smell/kinda look like an animal. They seem to ignore animals as far as I can tell. Also, I would like to see rare bears and wolf packs added (only a handful on the entire map) from which we could gather fur. - splint - The only idea in game I have a problem with right now is that morphine somehow cures a broken bone. That and there are only a few heavily sniped places to get morphine. I can understand that your average person may not know exactly how to make a proper splint so requiring a guide to be able to make one seems reasonable enough. Made with bandages and firewood. - mushrooms - eating mushrooms you find in a forest is a really bad idea... unless you have a guide. somewhat rare mushrooms could be found that are only gatherable if you have the guide and work the same way as painkillers. If them only being gatherable while holding a guide is unreasonable, then maybe you have to prepare a mixture using them at a campfire that you can only make with the guide. Much more can be done with the guide. I also see how it could basically make it so players never have to leave the forest. That said, it should probably be a very rare item.
