After the situation the other day, we will definitely look 'very' close before we make any decisions. Hackers went away for a while, and just yesterday alone we had 3-4 hacker situations. We have the IP and GUID of the hacker, just waiting for the main admin to do some posting on that.

You didnt shoot an admin. We were here during the hacker problem. We wil look into it. Need name, time (abouts), and any other information. The only person we banned was the person who was hacking. I will look into it though.

We have had a few on our server... I try to keep an eye on them, but I am on less frequently lately. I will have the main admin go back and check the logs for anything suspicious. 1:19pm what zone?

We are trying to get our server up and running, and I have looked at every single thread I could find on this situation, none of which offered any help. The situation: Trying to host a server, and it is listed in the launcher (I am certain it is white listed, but I have not been able to figure out where to verify that it is for sure.). The problem is, it is listed, but when we all try to join it says wait for host. Under the ArmA II server listing it shows a blank under type and mission, it also says "creating" under status. I am curious if this means something is not set up right, or we still need to wait, or the devs just hate us. Unfortunately this is all the information I have, since I am not the actual host. I have read a lot of posts on this, helped the host as much as I can, and yet nothing seems to fix the problem. Is there something special that needs to be done that maybe we are overlooking to go from "creating" to "playing"? It also seems weird that there is nothing listed under type and mission, since I normally set DayZ as a filter on the ingame server lists to find a spot to play. I know I have little info, but if anyone could shed some light on this, it would be greatly appreciated.

I will keep an eye out for those names. I was on yesterday, but dont remember those names. I will make sure to let the other wolf members know.

We have had our server up and running for a total of, ohhh, 4-5 hours... Maybe... And we have already had 2 hacks. One was a mass kill, and the other was random teleprot kills. We have been fighting to get our server up and running properly for a good month or two now, and we cant even play on our own server due to hackers... I know battleeye is 'getting better' but seriously, hacking should not be this rampant. They are there now... At least 3 of them. Spawning in Heli's, guns, car parts... Our server host just left for work and will be gone for a few days, so the rest of the members have very little admin rights...

We did encounter a cheater on LU289 a few days ago. I dont have any names or a date, cant remember when it was, earlier this week though

I have no idea what this says, but I hope that it is in regards to US 1044 being down constantly. We like playing on that server, and all of our items are there, but it is ALWAYS down lately.

Server: US 1044 Time 12-12:30 am Central What happened: Logging into US 1044, our regular server my friends and I play on, to find all of our tents and our vehicle 'flattened'. Trying to figure out if that was because someone ran over our tents, but it seemed weird. All of a sudden I was teleported somewhere with someone saying "Hey, hey buddy. You win a car! Oh my god, you won a car!" I left to the lobby, and I can still hear them talking while I am typing this on my laptop. Judging the conversation I am hearing, he keeps teleporting players to him. I made a list of all the people that are currently in the game: Karoi, LOL, Shamdam, and myself (Monoxide) I am now out in the middle of god knows where, and cant log in for fear that they will do something. I am also worried that all of our gear and ATV are gone from the server because of this. I hope this gets looked into. It has to be one of the players listed, but I do not know which one. If you need any more information, please let me know. He is still there, as I write this.

He is currently rampaging on US 1044. I made a post about it, he is spawning vehicles and giving them away: Killing people who do not take them. Time: 12.30 am Central

He just said to a guy named Jones Willy, "Oh yea, im a hacker, heeheehee. I forget to tell you?" I wish there was some way that these players could be perma banned or something. I have seen that there are mounds of threads within the last few days about hacker attacks. Seems like they are getting out of control. Just read another post about LOL being the hacker, so I am going to assume that it is him. Although I do not have proof, I would place my money on it being him.

I believe** It is LOL or Karoi, being that I am Monoxide, and I saw Shamdam die after hearing the guy say "Take the car or I will kill you." I am still listening to him to see if I can figure out who it is exactly. It could be both of them working together.

I dont even know if I need to say that what you stated is about the same as asking "is it plugged in?"

I vote no. I actually would like to see a more hardcore setup where even basic items are more rare.

I do not agree with any of your suggestions for change, but the idea that death doesnt mean much I do agree with. My thoughts on that are: Make 'everything' harder to obtain. As it is right now, you can gear back up (if youre lucky) nearly instantly, granted that is not with amazing weapons, but enough. If everything was harder to get, you would prize that ALICE pack all the more, and would be much more crushed if you died and lost it.

Just posting to bump since this happened to me too. I was hoping to see something from a dev at least acknowledging the situation or even better a plan of action. I have been playing a few weeks now and I would really like to have tents working since I 'still' have not found a vehicle on the servers I play on.

I had this problem (or at least similar to) today: I was playing on the Stabclan server (chicago based) and had set up a tent to hold some things. I play the most out of 3 friends, so I basically stockpile items to give to them. I had a lot of decent items, loads of ammo, and some little items that I just like to have spares of. Anyway, what happened was, I literally filled the tent, 5 backpacks, 10 tools/weapons, and 50 items. I head over to the SW part of the map to meet up with a friend and help him find my area. About halfway through my trip, the server crashes or restarts (think it was a crash because I was disconnected and couldnt get back in for about 10 minutes). Well, by the time I got back to my tent around 2 hours later, EVERYTHING was gone. I know there is the possibility of it being other players, but I honestly do not believe it was. It was a very obscure location, and even if it was another player(s) there would have had to be 3-4 OR they dropped things on the ground just to clean out the tent Which, if you would do something like that to another player, you deserve to be shot with a makarov by a new player who then gets all your crap. Anyway you look at it, I am almost certain that it was not another player, and that the server ate my items. I really only post because I want to see if any info will come from this.
