I've had the same happen to me as well as to my buddies but only when the 'debug monitor' disappeared. Anything that happened after it disappeared seemed out of sync (killed, item pickups, location). When it reappeared I got teleported back and it was like nothing I just did happened. We now log out and log back in as soon as it disappears :f

Hmm, had the same happen to me twice today. At first I thought it might have to do with different server versions or whatever but that doesn't seem to make a difference. Someone one IRC said that a way would be to "wait 5 minutes" after you put stuff in your pack before disconnecting but I just tried that and the shitty sniper I put in there stayed :p Lost some good shit this way! :>

Yes, I was there too with a buddy. We just shot someone 2 minutes before it happened, might be the pissed off guy ;-). My buddy was "shot" just before launched into the air, he was also the one who got the murder. We also both spawned in the air and died. Just had our ghillie suits and bison weapons :/ Very annoying.
