Hi guys, Bit bummed I was 22 days alive, had all my gear to survive and decent weapons being an mp5 with 4 clips and an M1911 with 5 clips. Also plenty of water bottles and meat etc. Was only missing my dearest ALICE. Crawling into Elektro and scored one! Was crawling out and out of nowhere *pop* I see a leg break and the death screen... 'D'oh!'. I was about to start over and have fun gearing up again hoping for a decent rifle when *pop* I respawn with a damn Lee Enfield, a revolver, ammo up the Wazoo, ALICE pack, tons of other random gear. Errr wtf? I was spawned just inside Cherno with 3k blood, bleeding out and a stack of hungry zeds all around. Is this even remotely possible as a bug? Did some jerk ruin my first decent survivor by Hax? Or does Jeebus just love to lol at us heathens? Was server US 13 Dallas about 7-8 am server time.

I had the same idea with blunt force (blackjack, police baton, bat of some description), or tranq darts that could be effective against hungry/thirsty survivors and less so for well fed jerks ;P If i'm wandering the tree line looking for bandits to retire, I would LOVE to give them a tap or two on the noggin and take the rifle from limp fingers. A hop, a step and a jump and the rifle goes into the sea. It takes all types in an online game, causing headaches for bandits (or survivors when you want) sounds like great fun!

This game will test your personal resilience. Well not really ;P. The key to survival anywhere (even day to day life not killing your asshat workmates) is mental attitude. Some great stories on here made me want to share mine. I was similar, down to 1200 blood caused by my own stupidity. I had an axe and full health, left my axe on toolbelt and blasted my sg off to cap a zed. I engaged the rest of the world it seemed zed wise. Smoke clears and post process effects almost broke me irl, but I was alive! Crawled for ages passing out etc managed in an hour to find enough food to stand up again, hunting knife and matches in a toilet (glad that guy listened to the Mrs when she told him to light a candle!). I could have given up easily, but after trying hard and taking the time I learnt so much (and was soooo lucky!) but i'm still alive now. The first time I really believed I was a Survivor. /proud Never give up(and never alt tab ><)!

I've twice found matches in the outhouse toilets in small towns. Total luck though, about 20 playthroughs and both times i've got my full set up for survival(axe, hunting knife, water bottles, weapons and meds) matches were the last thing to get.
