The rangefinder is fine with nightvision, you just have to turn it on once and then the game remembers that you have it.

Stupid idea IMO, I doubt Op would agree with "non-bandits" having lower accuracy or weapon skills because they shoot less. Pretty sure Rocket has said that he wants US to create the consequences, he's never going to enact "punishments" for people playing the game the way they want to play it. If you don't like "bandits" then you need to play smarter, not everyone post-apocalypse is going to want to hold your hand and wait in line for beans with you.

You should be getting more than 20fps but you're dreaming if you think you need 120+fps, doubt you can even tell the difference between that and 40. You might want to try a driver update, my card is rubbish and I get more than 20fps (assuming you aren't just overstating it). -

What happened is you killed him but he still disconnected and his body disappeared, the markings on the map are universal for everyone so it was probably his petty way of getting back at you. One has to wonder how he had a map to mark so quickly though. -
Mine is totally fine at 50m, total tack driver, are you sure you're not playing on a dodgy version of the game and Fade is effecting you?

If you're continually changing into a bird then you might want to buy a legit copy of the game and stop being a cheapass, the DRM in this game series won't stop you playing, it will just degrade your play experience to the point where it won't be fun any more. Changing into a bird repeatedly and declining weapon accuracy are both symptoms of "Fade", in coop you'll only get birded once you die rather than it randomly killing you when your game is dodgy.

It does sort of defeat the idea though, he wants an open sandbox environment, not one where a clan can control the variables and force roleplay etc. There's nothing to stop you from running scenarios in the current servers, in fact the addition of random survivors running around would make said scenarios more realistic. All the tools already exist, you just need the will to use them.

He wasn't implying Rocket was wrong, he was implying that blatant fanboi "balls in mouth" syndrome doesn't help at all, saying "rocket you're 100% right man, ignore everyone" is the exact opposite mentality to the one that lead to there being a "suggestions" forum in the first place. If you don't like people's opinions on features (even if they're blatantly wrong) then stay the hell out of the suggestions forum, I'm sure you can make threads praising Rocket in the general section or something.

I looted an SVD-Camo and a few mags last night and it was in my backpack (big coyote), I logged in today and when I went to check my pack its contents had reset to what was in there at about noon yesterday so i lost my SVD and about 7 mags for my m14. Partially Used Ammo Mag at 0 on login

Just a heads up guys, players were using half of all their magazines and then relogging so the game filled them up again, to prevent it Rocket made the game occasionally delete a mag that has rounds missing, it stops the mechanic being abused. -

I Didn't even get the choice, joined the Thailand server, got kicked because they were having problems with international bandwidth, never got the option to change.

Persistent bodies can't work in a game like this IMO, it would just mean mass murder with even less consequences than there are at the moment. You remember those virtualpet Tamigotchi things from the 90's that required 24/7 input or they died? It would be worse than those, people just won't play it after a while because the majority of gamers have at least SOME form of a life. -
I've thought that would be wicked, survivors not killed by head shots could reanimate after 30 seconds or so and would need to be killed again to be looted. Would be cool as hell to see survivor skinned zombs shambling around and it would mean people need to be smarter about kills.

I can't say i've ever died after logging in inside a building, the nature of the engine means that walls are transparent for a second or two while it loads and it's easy enough to get the jump on someone if you really need to. Can't say I would ever log out inside unless pressing real life issues forced me to though.
