I heard that this is a character bug and having a friend shoot you in the legs and applying morphine after fixes this, but I can't confirm.

Then let the servers change their settings! :D I LOVE this idea. I think it would be a GREAT addition to the game, however, how would it distinguish a murder as an actual assault or an act of self-defense? Also, would everyone start out as "friendly?" If so, there are always friendlies ready to turn bandit and kill someone for their loot which would defeat the purpose of this addition... How would we counter these issues??

What did you name them? And maybe if you throw something where you are or shoot again, they'll start coming back up?

What if you're raiding a camp with a campfire and one or more enemies? You're their buddy now...? And what if your game crashes...? Tough beans then...? :(

This sounds very cool, but before this happens, the zombies need to be tweaked a bit more. It'd be a bit hard to hold down the area with zombies running through your barricades! :P

There was some stuff on Twitter posted about this a day ago. I'm not sure if they're doing the same thing again or if it's still going on, but they told us to use this server list as a temporary replacement: http://arma2.swec.se/server/list and connect using their IPs.

Items don't get deleted when the tent is full; they appear on the ground outside of the tent just a tad bit far away from it. :P But I do agree with this: tents and vehicles should probably show how many slots they hold and how many are available.

Get shot by the enemy, and if you don't die or go unconcious, go prone and keep your gun down until they come near you. That's when you fuck their shit!! :D Though, be cautious as an experienced player may shoot you again when you're prone or realize that there are no fly sounds.

You can find the CZ550 hunting rifle typically in barns (I usually see them at the topmost areas inside of the barn).

I was riding back to my squad's camp with our tractor as I heard gunshots. Parked the tractor and looked around; found 3 guys. Killed them all with an M249 SAW. Looked at their bodies and found guns such as an AKS (it was gold), hacked LMG, and some other gun I don't remember. I also noticed a bunch of spawned ammo crates with nothing in them anymore around our base. I hid the bodies so the illegitimate guns disappeared. Two of the guys' names were "refresh" and "JOKER." I don't remember the other one unfortunately... [EDIT] Lost connection to the server and rejoined 10 minutes later. We saw a green helicopter flying but JOKER and refresh are not in the server; I wonder if the other hacker is here or they saved it to the map and a normal player is using it...?

What caused your problem is the military camo. It is bugged. DO NOT equip it!

I'll start with this: my squad had a small, remote camp with about six tents and four vehicles; the tents had nearly everything you could think of inside of them that we couldn't hold ourselves. Right, so this is how it went down... Our squad consists of 6 people in total. At this time, only 2 people from our squad (including myself) were on because the others live on the other side of the Earth and were currently sleeping. I decided to go on a vehicle hunt and asked the other squad member to join. He said he didn't want to go right now and so I went anyway. On the east coast I noticed a boat through my binoculars and went over to it. Since it was stuck, I thought it would be a good idea if I went to Steam chat the other squad member to push the boat with one of our tractors into the water. He said he didn't feel like it. I kept trying to convince him to come help me. Little did I know what was about to happen next... I re-open the game to find an armed man crouch-running towards the boat. I froze for a moment as I knew the animation for exiting the boat was lengthy and that I would be shot and killed, so I decided to wait in the boat to see what happens. He shoots me with his pistol. At this point, I exit the boat and I am killed. I tell my buddy what happened and that he should go kill the guy and rescue the boat and my supplies. Again, he refused but this time he left the game. "Don't feel like it." I respawn in a nearby city. I spend about half an hour regathering some supplies to go back and kill the man there myself. When I finally make it there, he is gone and the boat is still stranded in the same area. I realize that our camp is now left unprotected and start heading there. When I finally make it there, I see a group of 3 bandits raiding our little camp. I try to be stealthy but one notices me and I start backing up to find cover and make a shot at them without being out in the open, as they were much more heavily armed (from our tents) than I who had just respawned not even an hour ago. Obviously, they kill me again. I give my buddy an update and, you guessed it, he still refused to help out. I can get over the fact that I've been killed and have lost my things; it's fun enough rolling with my buddies of my squad. However, I am not exactly happy about my partner's decision not to protect anything for our squad and I do not know how many things the bandits decided to leave at our camp which now needs moving; the rest of the squad would be very disappointed if our vehicles were taken and our camp demolished; especially when it could've been prevented... We used to roll like total bosses in one of our four-seaters playing the ice cream truck song in the Direct channel... I question whether this particular squad member is an asset to our squad or not... I haven't seen him shoot a single bullet at a person and he always chickens out during combat that isn't with zombies... All I can say is "oh well." If our camp isn't in a suitable condition tomorrow, we'll have to find a different server and make a new camp with all new things and find new vehicles... When I think about it at the end of writing this, it doesn't seem all that hard; we accomplished all of this in a matter of a few days... The only thing I'm worried about is my squad's reaction to our vehicles being stolen... We were so attached to them that we even gave them names. Here's the list: Adam (Old Hatchback; named after someone we've killed on several different occasions) Chrik (GAZ; named after an acquaintance) Chair (tractor; named after someone we've killed before) Terry the Tractor (tractor; named spontaneously/origin unknown) The boat was not yet named... I just hope my buddies are up to starting from square one... :P

Whoa; this happened just a few hours ago...? I play here all the time and I've seen your name on the scoreboard too...! Bumping for recognition as I really don't want/need hackers on the server I'm most active on... :P

All I can say is get away from a place where people or zombies will likely kill you/be; typically go almost anywhere where there's some trees...

A very nice guide you have here mate; I never would have guessed that loot won't regenerate if you don't clear it out of its current contents first... Gotta tell all my friends now!!!

It's probably just ArmA 2 being a hoe as usual; try verifying the integrity of OA through Steam and set Steam to run as admin as well as the OA executable file and the regular ArmA 2 executable file (just in case; not sure if that would really have any effect or not but it's worth trying). Once you do that, give Combined Ops a quick launch on its own before you attempt joining a server through Six Launcher again. If none of the aforementioned methods work, I'm not sure what to tell you. ;)

I was in Stary Sobor and loaded with equipment. I noticed a newly-spawned guy running away from zombies (he had only the things you spawn with and no weapons) so I decided to follow him. Soon after, he noticed me and decided to chase me down with the zombies still following him to try and open my backpack (I know this because he kept pausing whenever he got very close to me; he wasn't just following me for protection!). We ran for about 200 meters and then I turned around and shot and killed the one zombie still following him and the guy...
