Espi (DayZ)

I'm not in a clan and wanted to try it out, so this was just a test logo

After reading this topic I figured I'd give it a shot. About a half hour later after googling 'squad xml' I think I got it working. I can see the logo in the players list, but the only vehicle I have is a chopper. And the logo isn't showing there. Feel like I've wasted my time. So are squad logo's not visible on the huey in Dayz?

Just would like to congratulate Rocket and the rest of the DayZ staff along with BIS on achieving 1 million unique players. That's a damn lot of people. Good luck with the rest of the project, however it turns out.

I run Dayz just fine in Windows 8 using a virtual machine.

I seem to avoid getting stuck on loading by making sure the required version matches the beta patch version that you're using. Even though the server name might say it's running the latest patch I find that only servers that require it rarely freeze on loading

If you have the right hardware you could also run a virtual machine (free) with Windows 8 preview which is free until next year. You won't be able to max out settings or anything but the game is more than playable that way.

Yes. Most beta patches are backward compatible.
